Here is the penultimate page of An Unlikely Meeting, which was finished and shared with my supporters on Patreon one month ago today. Like the rest of this comic this page was written by my supporters, and due to some mishaps that were my own fault it’s actually a chimera of two different scripts that I Frankensteined together. I think the resulting page is pretty good, though, and hopefully you’ll all enjoy the last page of this comic when it comes out in June.
This is the fourth page of “An Unlikely Meeting”, the current ongoing comic funded and written by my supporters on Patreon. Like always, this page was released one month ago today to my supporters, and now the smaller public version is being made public.
This page was a bit unique in that it was written with a different method than usual. Usually I have the Patrons submit ideas for a full page, and then the winning page through votes is what I use. This time I had them submit individual panels, and then combined the most popular panels into a sort of Chimera page. While I’m pretty happy with the result we got, the process needlessly complicated things for my supporters, so this is the only month we’ll be doing this. It was a fun experiment, though, and I’m glad we tried it.
Also, for those interested in my video series looking back at the superhero world I built when I was younger, here’s part nine:
So here is the third page to “An Unlikely Meeting”, the ongoing comic funded through my Patreon. This comic’s concept and characters were picked out through polls on Patreon, and then my supporters there write each page individually by submitting ideas and voting on them. Patreon sponsors received this page one month ago today. This page marks the halfway point of the comic, as I set a limit of six pages on this comic when it began (since I felt our last comic of this nature, One Night in Azarath, went on a little too long.
Here’s the second page of An Unlikely Meeting, the Patreon-funded comic written by my Patreon supporters! Like all the Patreon-funded comic pages, this page was completed one month ago today, and my supporters got to see it then. Now that a month has passed, everyone else gets to see it, albeit a bit smaller.
This page was a bit challenging, mostly due to the last panel. I sometimes struggle with extreme angles and the foreshortening that goes along with them (this was also a bit of a problem in the first panel). However, in the end I think I was able to pull this one off relatively well, and I hope you all like it. ^_^
Due mostly to coincidence, there’s gonna be a lot of Dragon Ball content this month. Besides yesterday’s post, tomorrow’s One-Shot comic page is a mix of DBZ and some other franchises, plus there’s about a week’s worth of DBZ pics lined up after that between my own random pics and Character Asks. I know you guys are probably all broken up about having an incoming flood of DBZ porn, but if you hold steady and stay patient you will get through to other content soon enough.
So now that “One Night in Azarath” is wrapped up, we’ve moved on to a new ongoing comic series written by my Patreon supporters. The set-up was decided through a series of polls, and the individual pages are written by Patreon-submitted scripts, just like ONIA was or like the One-Shots. This comic will update once a month for six months (I set a page limit this time, so we don’t end up on one concept for over a year again), then we’ll set up another comic to replace it. 🙂
Given how popular the DBZ boys are around here, I hope you guys will like this comic despite it needing to not make sense in order to bring these four together like this.
