This One-Shot was selected from a list of ideas submitted to my Patreon, like all of the One-Shots I do each month. This script called for a return of Gohan and Zangya together, and we even kept them in the same basic location as their last One-Shot appearance. The Patron who submitted this script also encouraged me to add any dialogue I felt like, so I tried to create a bit of a dynamic that I hope adds some life to the scene. The footjob panel was also added in by me (i.e., it wasn’t in the submitted script) because I was having trouble fitting the panels in a way I liked and thought it’d make the overall page better (at the very least, I think it’s better than having just moutnains and sky there). Anyway, I hope you all enjoy!
So this is the One-Shot I did for Patreon last month, featuring a crossover between Big Hero 6 and The Incredibles. I was very excited to do more with Helen and Cass, though I’m not completely happy with how this one turned out. I think it’s mostly due to Dash, who I’ve never felt comfortable drawing and can’t seem to get a good handle on. I’ve never been happy with any pic he’s appeared in.
The poses for this one were left up to me, so I decided to do a little pattern. Let the boys each be paired with their respective MILF (I know Cass is Hiro’s aunt, but she’s still a MILF), then let them double-team one, then the other before trading. I like to think this page is connected to the standalone pic I did of Helen and Cass a while ago. Maybe Dash caught them and snapped some photos, then contacted Hiro and arranged some blackmail fun? Regardless, I’m canonizing this into the Xoverse.
Also, here’s the latest episode of Near Talk. Some folks have asked me about my day-to-day schedule, so I go into that a little here:
Here’s the One-Shot comic selected from a collection of scripts submitted on my Patreon last month. Smash Bros. had just come out, and I was really into it (still am), so the timing was good ’cause I was in the mood for Smash porn. I’ve always wanted to use Smash Bros. as a platform for content, but I never seem to be able to settle down and do some. The script here did not specify poses or dialogue or anything, so I got to plan out the page myself. ^_^ I added in lines from the game that I thought would fit the scene, for those characters who have lines like that.
Also, here’s a new episode of Near Talk where I talk a bit about my thoughts on crossovers and what I find appealing about them:
This is the One-Shot comic selected from a number of scripts my Patrons submitted for December. This one was kinda neat, because it included three Phantom Troupe members I think I was probably expected to have drawn a long time ago. I’m actually not super keen on most of the Phantom Troupe myself, but I know they’re popular characters with a lot of fans. Pakunoda’s pretty nice, I like her distinctive nose and generally find her pretty attractive. Machi I could take or leave, she looks a bit too generic for me. Shizuku’s a character I kinda actively hate. She killed another character I was more interested in, and on top of that I find her overall pretty annoying and unlikable, which makes it hard to find her attractive. ^_^;
I went with a darker bluish lighting here… The Phantom Troupe’s main location from the portion of the anime I watched is some abandoned warehouse or something, and it’s usually lit like this. I thought it’d be a fun way to help this One-Shot stand out from some of the others. A unique challenge for this one was the Phantom Troupe’s signature spider tattoos. Of the three of them, Shizuku’s the only one I knew for sure the location of. I knew the other two had them, but not where, so I kinda fudged it. I hope you all enjoy the pic, especially since I can’t make any promises I’ll be drawing any of these women again any time soon.
So here’s the One-Shot selected from the scripts submitted by my Patreon supporters last month. I think Mamoru here was only included in this concept due to his angel appearance in the end credits (I never saw GaoGaiGar, so I don’t know if he has those wings at any other time in the show). Even if he’s not actually an angel, I think his inclusion here is nice. He’s a cute character I’m not very familiar with and never would’ve thought to draw otherwise. The actual poses and dialogue here were left up to me, and I did my best to have some fun with them. I wanted to include something with an eggplant since the Eggplant Wizard and his spell is one of the few things I know about the Kid Icarus games (I mostly know the characters through Smash Bros.). I did a little research on GaoGaiGar to write Mamoru’s dialogue (it’s a reference to the show, but I don’t actually know if fans of the show will make the connection). Hopefully it’s not too forced, haha….
Here’s October’s One-Shot. There were a few Halloween-themed scripts submitted for last month, and this one was one of them. That’s why Beast Boy is wearing a Terminator mask (the script specified it should be like Kenny Omega’s from Wrestle Kingdom), Raven’s a witch and Starfire is a kitty (which seems to happen a lot to her in both versions of the cartoon). I know Halloween has come and gone now, but just like with last year’s One-Shots this comic came out a month ago for the Patreon crowd. And Halloween wasn’t that long ago, right?
Here is the One-Shot comic selected by my Patrons for August. This is another “each panel is a different pairing” one (as is the one I’ll be making public next month), with an all-yaoi bend this time around. Our first panel features probably the three most popular boys from my Applebridge setting, Loren, Mace and Jackie, while the second panel is Chris with Sonic, Knuckles and Silver (who to the best of my knowledge was never actually in Sonic X). The bottom two panels feature crossovers, with one being the ever-popular DBZ/H×H, and the other a unique Pokémon/Inuyasha/Blue Exorcist blend. Hope you all enjoy!
Here is the One-Shot comic page selected by my Patreon supporters last month. This is another one of those “four unconnected panels” ones, but it did give me the excuse to finally do some Assassination Classroom work, as well as use Clementine again in something other than a Character Ask. Hope everyone likes the pic.
Also, I did another Q&A video for my Patrons recently. Several of the questions in this one related specifically to Patreon issues, but I still thought some of you might find the video interesting so I’m sharing it here.
So this One-Shot idea showed up a few times in the comments on my Patreon, and I think it underwent a few revisions and changes when it cropped up (though I can’t be sure). I know at least there were a few different attempts to get Zushi and/or Alluka into some action with Gon and Killua. I was never a huge fan of these scripts, since I’m not really interested in either Zushi or Alluka, but apparently I’m in the minority on this as the idea finally won out last month. Here it is now one month after I finished the page, for the public. I hope you all like it.
