Alien Registration – Starfire: Registered

“Alien Registration” is an idea I’ve been bouncing around for a little bit. Some of you may remember a Space Dandy One-Shot I did a while back, where Dandy “registered” four alien girls from his own series. What you might not know is, before that script one, the same Subscriber had submitted a different draft of it where Dandy was instead “registering” alien girls from other franchises. I kinda liked that idea, so I’m considering that One-Shot to be the unofficial start of this series, but here going forward they’ll be little one-off pics like this rather than comic pages.

Dandy might register some other aliens from Space Dandy, though mostly this series will be a crossover. It also won’t be purely straight, I think Dandy will need to be okay with registering some male aliens here and there. I think this is a fun little concept, and I hope y’all will enjoy it.

June ’23 One-Shot

The winning Subscriber-submitted script for June 2023 features Raven, Starfire and Terra having some fun with our boys Goten and Trunks. This one’s pretty straightforward, and kinda feels like the old One-Shots from early in my Patreon career. I hope y’all will enjoy it, I feel like it’s been a minute since we’ve seen Goten and Trunks tag teaming some folks (or since we’ve seen these three Titans together).

NHS Fusion – Pinkfire

Here’s the third fusion for this series, Mina Ashido (Pinky) with Koriand’r (Starfire). The theme of the poll for this one was “colorful” girls, i.e. girls with unusual skin tones like pink or green. This combo won out, so we now get the fusion of the Alien Queen of U.A. and the Princess of Tamaran! Having two characters with unique designs allowed for a lot of interesting decisions when designing her, some of which probably aren’t that obvious, but I tried to blend some of the most recognizable aspects of both girls’ looks into Pinkfire, here. Since I couldn’t find a Tamaranean translation for the word “pink”, I opted out of giving her a non-hero name, but I think she can just go by Pinkfire and that’ll be fine.

Blackfire Character Ask 4

I see this Ask as a sort-of sequel to the Mini Commission I did of the orange sisters not long ago. I see Blackfire as taking a lot of personal pleasure in domming Starfire due to their relationship from the cartoon, but I do think she’s also the type to enjoy controlling anyone who would let her. While I don’t see Princess Bubblegum as a complete sub (honestly, she’s got “switch” energy to me), I do see her as someone who could enjoy slipping into that role, letting go of pressures and stress, even if she finds Blackfire’s rudeness a bit tough to swallow. Mostly I just thought it’d be funny if Blackfire was drawn to another woman whose voice scratches that itch for reasons she can’t explain.

Starfire Character Ask 2

I usually try and avoid answering Asks with negative answers, but this was one case where I felt I could still have a bit of visual fun with the response. I know some artists have had some fun leaning into Starfire’s more dominant side, as it can be fun to see characters go outside of their usual roles. Starfire’s alter-ego of Starfire the Terrible from Go! can be a good avenue for that sort of thing, but it just didn’t feel right for how I tend to view the sisters (at least in my work). I’ve never seen Blackfire dominating Starfire as a forceful or power-based thing, but more a result of their personalities. Blackfire’s sadistic side and manipulative talents playing into Starfire’s eagerness to please and naturally submissive tendencies. In the series this is a toxic relationship Starfire has to grow out of, but for my purposes it plays more into a balanced dom/sub dynamic. With that in mind, I’m not sure if I could really see Blackfire willingly going into a role reversal with her sister… If I wanted to do that, it’d probably need to be its own story, and not an Ask, so for now instead I thought it’d be fun to see Starfire suffer some light punishment for bringing it up to her at all.

Worshipping Blackfire’s Feet

Here’s a little Mini Commission featuring a return of Blackfire domming Starfire. I’ve actually been meaning to get back to this pairing for a while, but the last pic with them I started just kinda stalled out and I’ve had trouble picking it back up. So hopefully anyone who likes these two in these roles will be able to enjoy this pic instead! Since it’s a Mini Commissions, only one character can really appear, and the subscriber who submitted this idea wanted it to be Blackfire. I tried to angle it in a way where I could pull it off while still having it fall within the scope of what a Mini Commission is, and I think it worked out alright.

Titans New Year

So, New Year’s may be past (especially by the time this post will go public), but a subscriber commissioned this little pic to commemorate the start of 2021. They wanted to see three couples from the Teen Titans having fun, so we got Raven with Cyborg, Starfire with Robin, and Terra with Beast Boy. It’s been a very long time since I’ve done anything with Terra, but she seems to be enjoying herself alongside the other girls.

The Wet

I’ve been in a Raven kinda mood lately, so you might see a bit more of her from me in the near future (no pun intended). The first thing I wanted to do, though, was ink and color this older sketch from almost a year ago. I don’t remember why I started this one back then, but I always liked how the perspective turned out and made a point of wrapping it up, even though Raven’s less of the focus in this one.

October ’18 One-Shot

Here’s October’s One-Shot. There were a few Halloween-themed scripts submitted for last month, and this one was one of them. That’s why Beast Boy is wearing a Terminator mask (the script specified it should be like Kenny Omega’s from Wrestle Kingdom), Raven’s a witch and Starfire is a kitty (which seems to happen a lot to her in both versions of the cartoon). I know Halloween has come and gone now, but just like with last year’s One-Shots this comic came out a month ago. And Halloween wasn’t that long ago, right?
