I don’t know how many people saw/are aware of Close Enough, but it’s a cartoon from Regular Show-creator J.G. Quintel and is a sort-of spiritual successor to that series. This is a pretty old sketch of two characters from it, Emily Ramirez and Bridgette Hashima. Like a lot of the more-stylized Western shows I’ve attempted, I was unsure about this pic and left it on the sidelines for quite some time before eventually deciding to ink and color it. I’m still not sure how I feel about this attempt to adapt the show’s style into my work, but I hope some of you will enjoy it.

I miss this show and wish it had lasted longer than 3 seasons, dangit. It was too damn good for this bad world of ours.
Wow that’s really good. Very hot too. The show may be gone but with advanced AI art these days, I’m sure people will keep it alive.
