This month’s Near Hentai Monthly Lady (NHML) winner is Miyako Ishida from “A Silent Voice”. She is the mother of Shouya, the protagonist of the story (pictured here with her). She owns a hair dresser salon, but that’s about all I know about her. I haven’t seen the film, but I read up on it some and watched a few clips in preparation for this pic. It seems like a good film (don’t know if the manga is any different). Miyako has a really nice design, and there’s actually a fair number of characters who caught my eye while I was researching it. I don’t really plan to go and do any more content with “A Silent Voice”, but I wouldn’t be opposed to it if I end up thinking about some of the characters later.

With this post, NHML nominations for the month of November are now open. For those who don’t know, I’ll run down the rules real quick. Nominations are limited to one per person, and if I catch anyone trying to do multiple nominations by changing their names I will remove all of that person’s nominations. I’m getting real sick of people trying to pull fast ones and game a system that’s meant to be for fun. You can nominate any female character you want, provided I have not drawn her within the past calendar year (though I prefer characters I’ve never drawn, period). Previous NHML winners are not eligible for a second time. If you violate either of those other two rules, I’ll let you know, and you can nominate someone else. I know it can be hard to keep track of those things. You may nominate by either commenting in the cBox, commenting to this post, or emailing me (Nearphotison2010@yahoo.com). I’ll compile a list of the nominees on the sidebar of this site, and then on November 1st I will use a randomizer to select the winning character who I will proceed to draw sometime that month. I look forward to seeing who you all nominate this time around!
