Erased is a series I watched some time ago, and remember really enjoying. When I watched it, Sachiko did stand out to me as a character I might draw. However, I never really got around to it, hence why I’m only drawing her now as part of the Near Hentai Monthly Lady. I’m pretty happy to draw her now, though. I know some folks find the way her lips are drawn off-putting, but if you watch the show I think it’s hard not to get attached to her in some capacity. I paired her with her son, Satoru, the protagonist of the series. I feel like any discussion of their relationship in the series would end up going into spoiler territory, and Erased isn’t the type of show I want to spoil, but I hope those of you who’ve seen it will enjoy seeing these two together.

With this post, NHML nominations for the month of January are now open. For those who don’t know, I’ll run down the rules real quick. Nominations are limited to one per person. You can nominate any female character you want, provided I have not drawn her within the past calendar year (though I prefer characters I’ve never drawn, period). Previous NHML winners are not eligible for a second time. Nominees must also not be from the same franchise as this month’s winner, Erased. If you violate any of those rules, I’ll let you know, and you can nominate someone else. I know it can be hard to keep track of these things. I’ll compile a list of the nominees in the sidebar of this site, and then on January 1st I will use a randomizer to select the winning character who I will proceed to draw sometime that month.
