I think I mentioned before when I drew these two, but I have a handful of sketches with Velma and Marcie/Hot Dog Water here I’d like to eventually see colored. I don’t know if I’ll get through all of them, but for now at least here’s another one featuring them grinding against each other.

I recently started watching Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, the 2010 Scooby-Doo series. I’m only partway through it right now, but I’m enjoying it. When it first came out I wasn’t a huge fan of the redesigns for the characters, but I’ve moved past that now. One thing I appreciate about this incarnation of the franchise is all the new characters it brought in, one of whom is Marcie Fleach, also known as “Hot Dog Water”, a cute nerdy girl with ties to Velma. I don’t want to get into her role in the series too much, but she’s a fun alternative ship for Velma. I think it’s likely I’ll draw this pairing again, although I’m definitely not done with Velma and Daphne as a pairing.
