The Near Hentai Monthly Lady is Yui from Hell’s Paradise. Yui is a somewhat unique character, as she isn’t actually present during the events of Hell’s Paradise. Her husband, Gabimaru (pictured here with her) is the protagonist, but when we first meet him they’re separated and he ends up on an island where most of the show takes place. Getting back to her is his goal, but we really only see her in flashbacks. Regardless, they have a really cute dynamic and relationship, and I’m happy to reunite them here in the Studio. I’m rather fond of Hell’s Paradise, but this is the first time I’ve done anything with the franchise. However, I do have a couple pics planned for down the road, but I think it’ll be a while before I get to any of them.

With this post, NHML nominations for the month of April are now open. For those who don’t know, I’ll run down the rules real quick. Nominations are limited to one per person. You can nominate any female character you want, provided I have not drawn her within the past calendar year (though I prefer characters I’ve never drawn, period). Previous NHML winners are not eligible for a second time. Nominees must also not be from the same franchise as this month’s winner, Hell’s Paradise. If you violate any of those rules, I’ll let you know, and you can nominate someone else. I know it can be hard to keep track of these things. I’ll compile a list of the nominees in the sidebar of this site, and then on April 1st I will use a randomizer to select the winning character who I will proceed to draw sometime that month.
