Attack on Titan Near Hentai Monthly Lady

Yelena is the Near Hentai Monthly Lady for May 2024. Yelena’s kind of a weird character in Attack on Titan. I can’t really say I’m a fan of her or anything, but she is involved in a few of my favorite moments from the fourth season and has an interesting presence to her. She also towers over everyone on the cast, which is fun. I’d considered drawing her a few times in the past, but my interest in AOT pics faded before I got around to her. There’s a few reasonable options for partners for her, but I’d decided a long time ago that if I ever did draw her it’d be with Onyankopon first. He’s far from her closest relationship, but they get introduced together hand share a lot of screentime. Plus, he’s a character I kinda like but don’t really have a good reason to draw, so this is kind of a convenient excuse to get him into the Studio. I found I really liked working with Yelena here for this pic, though, and while I don’t expect her to become a huge star in the Studio I do plan to draw her a bit more in the future.

With this post, NHML nominations for the month of June are now open. For those who don’t know, I’ll run down the rules real quick. Nominations are limited to one per person. You can nominate any female character you want, provided I have not drawn her within the past calendar year (though I prefer characters I’ve never drawn, period). Previous NHML winners are not eligible for a second time. Nominees must also not be from the same franchise as this month’s winner, Attack on Titan. If you violate any of those rules, I’ll let you know, and you can nominate someone else. I know it can be hard to keep track of these things. I’ll compile a list of the nominees in the sidebar of this site, and then on June 1st I will use a randomizer to select the winning character who I will proceed to draw sometime that month. This feels like kind of a go-to type of question for Sasha, and I figured I might as well get it out of the way. Sasha’s probably more interested in meat than she is “meat”, but I figured she’d be up to the challenge of multitasking to indulge in both. The Studio has limitless access to food from across the multiverse, so I’m sure Sasha will be a bit overwhelmed expanding her palette for a while.

So, I was hesitant to do this Dare for two reasons. One is that I just drew Silas a few days ago for an Ask. Another is that I don’t typically like doing holiday-based Asks or Dares ’cause, while this post is going out to my Subscribers on Halloween, it’ll be February by the time it goes public. Regardless, I did go ahead and decide to do this one, and I hope those of you seeing this post in February can forgive the out-of-season spookiness.

Not much to say about this one, I think. Ymir and Christa/Historia had a cute but under-explored relationship in the first couple seasons of the show. I wanted to do something with them, and decided to do this little pic with their in-training designs. I’d kind of like to do another pic of them eventually with their later designs, but I can’t make any promises on if or when that will happen.

They Were Roommates

Annie and Hitch have an interesting relationship that I kinda wish we saw a little more of in Attack on Titan. We only really see them interact a handful of times, but I liked the idea of pairing them up. I thought this would be a fun way to do it, kinda having my cake and eating it too with their different designs as well as flipping their dynamic.

Attack on Titan Clean Break Comic

When my Subscribers decided on the new straight ongoing comic, they voted first on the characters and then the story. After getting Eren, Armin and Mikasa, there was some back-and-forth over which portion of Attack on Titan the comic would take place in. At the time, putting it earlier in the show won out, hence the comic up to this point. This month only one script was submitted, and it called for moving the comic into sometime between seasons three and four, during a period conveyed mostly in flashbacks. I’m not thrilled about abruptly cutting off the comic’s momentum in this way, and I’m a little worried the title no longer makes sense, but hopefully people will still be able to enjoy however much of this one we have left at this point.
