Here’s the bio page for Oliver Townsend! Not much to say here. I was gonna originally put him in a full soccer uniform, but I decided instead to just put him in cut-off shorts with a soccer-esque tee. Sorry the art for this one is so SFW, but if you wanna see more of him he’s shown off all the goods already in Asks and the like. Wren will probably be the next bio I do, though I can’t say for sure when that’ll be just yet.
This is the first appearance of Terry Birch’s mom, Rosalynne, in her modern-day design. We saw her briefly in Terry’s first Ask, though it was an old photo of her and Mickie in college. Anyway, I’ve had this design in my head for a while now, and decided I’d go ahead and do her bio since I don’t know how long it’ll be until I’m ready to do a comic with her.
So this is the bio page for Debra Seema, the first girl we saw Mace and Jackie with back in their first appearance. At the time I only intended to draw her for that one comic and never again, but drawing her again for this had me kinda wanting to do more with her. I don’t know if I’d do another comic with her, since really the only ideas I have for her are more people fucking her in the ice cream truck, but maybe she’ll show up again? We’ll see.
Here’s the bio page for Lucien Vinson, Loren’s friend! I introduced him a bit ago, but now we get to learn a little bit more about him. I think most of what’s covered here I at least hinted at before, if I didn’t say it outright, but it’s nice to have it documented like this. Hopefully you all enjoy the little show he seems to be putting on, too. ^_^
So, as promised, here’s the other half of the Twinson twins. Mari’s much more of a loner goth type than her social butterfly sister, which I think her bio reflects. Both Mari and Mai should be showing up again eventually in a future Applebridge comic, I just can’t say one way or another how long it’ll be until then. ^_^;
Here’s the bio page for Kobi Ray, the protagonist of Sunkissed Youth (which I am still working on). This one’s kinda ironic in that he’s wearing much more clothing here than his only other appearance so far, despite having yet to appear nude in any of my work. We’ll get to that eventually, though, but in the meantime hope you all enjoy the chance to get to know him a little better.
Like I mentioned when I did Tia, I wanted to get both Mace and Jackie’s moms out in bio form. Mia’s Mace’s mom, who we’ve seen briefly once before. She’s lead a bit of an interesting life, I think, though these days she spends most of her time either working or partying. It’s possible her parenting style has contributed to Mace being the way he is, though that’s not really a problem. After all, the Mace and Jackie series wouldn’t be nearly as interesting if he spent all his time staying home studying or something.
I decided I wanted to get bio pages out for Mace and Jackie’s moms, and I’m starting with Jackie’s. Sorry the pic to go along with this one is so tame, but I feel like I want to save both Tia and Mia’s “reveals” for a later date. Still, I hope you all enjoy the chance to learn a little more about the woman who raised Jackie. Sometime soon I’ll hopefully get to do Mia’s bio as well.
Carly’s an interesting character to me, just because of how she came about. When I first drew her, I didn’t have anything in mind for her besides being a classmate recording Jean in action, but then she kinda developed around that fact. Through Asks and then later a Snapshot it was decided she wasn’t just a classmate of Jean’s, but his best friend who is also kinda obsessed with his whoring. She’s got a bit more to her now with this Bio, and I think I’d like to try doing some more with her some time in the future.
