Is this a vanilla frosty?
The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for April is Wendy’s mascot… Wendy. Wendy got a lot of fanart back when Wendy’s Twitter became a bit of a meme, with people ascribing the Twitter’s sassy attitude to an anime bratty version of the character. Even though that trend is pretty dead by now, I decided to lean into that interpretation of the character a bit for this pic. I thought her getting gangbanged by, I presume, Wendy’s patrons sounded kinda fun.

Near Hentai Monthly Lady Regular Show

The March 2021 Near Hentai Monthly Lady is Cloudy Jay (or Cloudy J, I’ve seen both used), better known as CJ from Regular Show. I watched a bit of Regular Show a couple years ago, but I fell out of it before she was introduced. Looking into her, it seems she was a girlfriend of Mordecai for a bit, and a rival of Margaret. While I never really considered Regular Show to be a series I wanted to draw, of the characters I met when I watched it, Margaret was probably the character I would’ve been most interested in at the time. I’ve always enjoyed some good rival sex, even if CJ an Margaret don’t appear to be have quite as palpable a dislike for each other as many other rivalries, so I decided to pair them up for this pic. When I shared the lineart with my subscribers, there were a few jokes about Mordecai being in the corner jerking off. I didn’t want to draw a full new Mordecai pic to add to this one, but I did kinda like the idea so I added him into the background here for a bit of comedic effect.

Ty Lee NHML

Ty Lee won this month’s NHML raffle, and I decided the best way to go with her would be to 1) Do something showing her flexibility off and 2) Get Mai and Azula involved. These three are probably the last of the main TLA characters not to be featured in the Studio at some point, and this was as good an excuse as any to bring all three of them in. I don’t know how much they’ll show up in the future since, despite loving Avatar porn whenever I come across it, it’s almost never on my mind as something to draw. At the very least we have this threesome, though, and I do think it’d be fun to try something else with this trio eventually down the line.

Dark Magician Girl NHML

The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for January 2021 is the Dark Magician Girl from Yu-Gi-Oh. I’ve drawn this character a couple times in the past, but it’s been a minute. I thought it’d be cute to have her getting fucked by Yugi, though I kinda wanted to have someone new introduced to the Studio through the pic. I’ve never drawn Téa before, and I remember her having a connection with the Dark Magician Girl card (especially during her artic card battle with that penguin), so I threw her into the pic as well.

Megami Tensei Near Hentai Monthly Lady Persona

The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for December 2020 is Chie Satonaka from Persona 4. Despite drawing the persona series a handful of times through commissions (and once, another NHML) in the past, I don’t really know much about the characters or anything. When I went to look up what Chie’s deal is for this pic, I saw a lot of art (both official and fan-made) of her with Yukiko Amagi. I get the impression that they’re pretty close, so I decided a nice little yuri pic would suffice. Yukiko seems both nervous and entranced by how Chie’s asshole swallows her fingers. I wonder if she’s craving a taste.

Adventures of the Gummi Bears Disney Near Hentai Monthly Lady

When I was a kid, the Disney channel was a subscription service similar to HBO or whatever. When I was an infant my parents had a brief trial period with subscription channels like them, and during that time they filled up blank VHS tapes with whatever they could (both kids shows and stuff as well as movies for them). So, growing up, I had several VHS tapes featuring Disney’s Adventures of the Gummi Bears. These tapes were my main interaction with this series, as much later when we got Disney on cable they were well past that era. I haven’t thought about the show much since then, but kinda had to once Calla here won the Near Hentai Monthly Lady raffle.
I’ve talked in the past about enjoying pairing normal human characters with cartoony characters, and I saw this franchise as a good opportunity to do that. I see Calla and Sunni as appealing in a similar way to Sonic and Chris Thorndyke, just gender-flipped. I was tempted to try and work Grammi Gummi into this pic, as looking back at the series I found myself appreciating her design a lot more than I did as a kid, but in the end I opted not to. Calla and Sunni’s friendship is cute and easy to work with, so I kept this pic simple. However, there’s a chance I might come back with some other Gummi Bears content down the line (unless I forget and move on).

Near Hentai Monthly Lady One Piece

Marguerite NHML

The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for October 2020 is Marguerite from One Piece (I think her name was localized to Margaret, but I’m going to be calling her Marguerite). I never saw this part of One Piece, but I guess she’s an amazon or something like that. She has two other characters she seems to appear with frequently, one who I chose not to use here and one named Aphelandra, who I decided to partner Marguerite up with. Aphelandra’s some sort of giantess, towering over most of the other characters (I think one or two of the other amazonian women might be taller, I’m not sure, their sizes are all over the place). I thought a fun size difference yuri pic would be nice, so that’s what we’ve got here. Due to the size difference, Marguerite comes across as less of the star of this pic, with Aphelandra taking up most of the frame, but that’s just kinda how it goes in this case.

This here’s the Near Hentai Monthly Lady for September 2020, Stocking from Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt. The show largely has a stylized, simple art style, but I decided to lean closer to the more detailed art style that’s used occasionally in the show. I’d considered doing something with both Panty and Stocking in the past, and figured this was my best chance. So I decided a little sisterly facesitting would be fun.

Mankitsu Happening Near Hentai Monthly Lady

So here we have August’s Near Hentai Monthly Lady, Otona Mitsuki from the hentai series Mankitsu Happening. I don’t typically like to draw characters from hentai (or even ecchi, most of the time), even ones I like, since I feel like the hentai kinda covers everything in most cases. Like, a large part of what I like to do is bring lewdness to things that aren’t inherently lewd, but I digress. I remember watching Mankitsu Happening about five years ago or so, but it didn’t really stick with me too much. I thought it was kinda generic and so-so as far as hentai goes, the story didn’t grab me and I thought the girls all felt a bit too familiar to other hentai I’d watched in the past. It’s not a bad series, though, and I can see why some folks might get attached to it or the characters. Otona here is an idol who gets caught up in the events of the story, and part of her character is this little disguise she wears while in public (the hat and glasses). We never see her have sex wearing these items, even though I think they’re cute and make her a bit less generic looking than she normally does. So, since I wanted to bring something to this pic you can’t find in the OVA itself, I had her wearing them here. I also decided to throw in two of the other prominent girls in the series, Rei Suzukawa (left) and Kururu Hiiragi (right) for good measure. And I guess for good measure we can confirm that the POV guy here is Keiichi Oyamada, the protagonist of the series. I mean, who else could it be, right?

Near Hentai Monthly Lady Sword Art Online

Rika Shinozaki NHML

Here’s the Near Hentai Monthly Lady for July 2020, Rika Shinozaki from Sword Art Online. I’ve only seen a handful of episodes of this show, so I don’t know much about the characters beyond having seen them in some AMVs. I do know these characters all have multiple appearances, due to the series’ premise of taking place in VRMMORPGs. These designs are from the second big game they play (as far as I can tell), because looking into Rika it seemed like she had some connection with the other two (Suguha and Keiko). It’s possible the nomination was meant to be for Rika’s real life design, I can’t say, since this version is a character she plays named Lisbeth… I just think these designs are more interesting, since even though every character in this show looks like a knockoff of a character from a better anime, the human designs all look like supporting characters from generic dating sims and interest me even less. ^_^;
