Goblin Slayer

The 1 Club – Icy/Hot Warrior

Since all the 1 Club pics I’ve done so far have ben straight or yuri, I told myself I’d make sure the next one would be yaoi. Warrior from Goblin Slayer stood out to me as an ideal pick for this series. Not only have I only drawn him once, the one time I did you could barely see him ’cause he was drowning in so much pussy. I think he’s a cutie, so then I needed to find a partner for him. One didn’t come to mind for a while, but I thought it’d be neat to find him a partner who’s just barely within the 10-posts threshold I like to use for this series. So I was browsing the tags on my site, looking at people with 10-11 posts, and Todoroki stood out to me. I don’t really think there’s any thematic link between these two, more just I wanted to draw Warrior and people are always wanting to see more Todoroki from me. So, these two facts come together in this pic that I hope y’all will enjoy.

Fighter NHML

The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for August 2021 is Fighter, a minor character from the first episode of Goblin Slayer. Fighter is best known for being the woman who gets brutalized and raped by goblins, as part of that episode’s goal of showing how dangerous, sadistic, and evil the goblins of that show are. She’s part of a party who mostly get similarly brutalized (except for Priestess, who does get hurt but makes it out mostly okay so she can become a main character going forward). The other two members are Wizard and Warrior, who both die during the event in pretty horrific ways.
It’s an extremely upsetting scene, the way it plays out, as the show wants you to feel these characters hopelessness and desperation as they meet their fates. I’m pretty sure the goal is to make it so you feel relief when Goblin Slayer shows up, as he has the strength and competency to deal with the situation. It’s a difficult watch, though, and one I didn’t enjoy back when it first came out. As such, I’ve never seen the rest of the show, and can’t comment on how much the bleakness of that episode permeates the rest of the show.
Since goblin gangbangs are a pretty common and popular trope in hentai and fantasy porn, it’s unsurprising that many people have taken Fighter’s rape and turned it into more explicit content than what the show was able to do. As such, it’s really the only type of hentai of her, save one or two exceptions. I know it’s what the person who nominated her was looking for, but I just don’t like the idea of an NHML entry being just another in a long line of the exact same concept. Instead, I opted to go a different route, and show the four members of this adventuring party having a fun time in the local inn before going to that cave. Normally this would be the vanilla option, but I’m happy with it and I like that it feels completely different from the other Fighter art I’ve seen (or even the general Goblin Slayer hentai I’ve seen). Plus, now all four of them are in the Studio, and narratively I like the idea of iterations of these characters getting to live happily in the Studio instead of going into the goblin cave.
Now, that’s not to say I have anything against the goblin rape stuff or anything. I think it’d be pretty hypocritical of me to pretend this is some moral stance, when I’ve drawn plenty of rape, bestiality, shota, loli, etc. I’m even open to maybe doing some more typical goblin stuff with these characters in the future. I’ve been considering possibly a little four-part miniseries showing each of them in a goblin gangbang, but no promises. I like to think about ideas for pics a lot, but I couldn’t even finish the planned two-part Buu gangbang of Goten and Trunks, so don’t anyone get their hopes up about that.
With this post, NHML nominations for the month of September are now open. For those who don’t know, I’ll run down the rules real quick. Nominations are limited to one per person. You can nominate any female character you want, provided I have not drawn her within the past calendar year (though I prefer characters I’ve never drawn, period). Previous NHML winners are not eligible for a second time. Nominees must also not be from the same franchise as this month’s winner, Goblin Slayer. If you violate any of those rules, I’ll let you know, and you can nominate someone else. I know it can be hard to keep track of these things. You may nominate by either commenting in the cBox, commenting on this post, or emailing me (Nearphotison2010@yahoo.com). I’ll compile a list of the nominees in the sidebar of this site, and then on September 1st I will use a randomizer to select the winning character who I will proceed to draw sometime that month. I look forward to seeing who you all nominate this time around!
