Hunter × Hunter Near Hentai Monthly Lady

NHML – Palm Siberia

The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for October 2017 is Palm Siberia, and I couldn’t be happier. Not only does she fit into this spooky month quite well, she’s also a character I’ve been dying to draw for some time. I first saw her when working on Biscuit Krueger’s NHML entry, and immediately fell in love. There’s something about her I can’t explain, but I really dig her and would like to draw her again some time. In fact, I’ve already begun looking into possibly doing a Palm/Biscuit yuri piece.

Anyway, it’s now time to start collecting nominations for November’s NHML! The way it works is simple. Everyone gets one nomination. Nominated women have to be someone I haven’t drawn in the past year, and preferably one I’ve never drawn. I will keep record of all the nominees over on the sidebar of the site and, on the first of November, I will use a random selection process to pick the winning lady. That lady will get a picture drawn of her by me sometime during the month. Dragon Ball Near Hentai Monthly Lady

The Near Hentai Monthly Lady this month is Erasa from Dragon Ball Z. I’ve drawn her once before (with Videl), but it’s been long enough that she qualified for nomination and she just happened to win the drawing this month. I decided to pair her with both Videl and Gohan this time around, for a slight change from last time (though I ended up cropping most of Gohan out to keep Erasa as the focus).

Near Hentai Monthly Lady Villainous

NHML – Demencia

The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for August 2017 is Demencia from Villainous. I was excited when she won the raffle, as I’ve actually been wanting to use her for something for a while now. I hadn’t seen Villainous, but I’d seen other artists draw her and I liked her design. I did finally watch the series of shorts in preparation for this pic, and my favorite of them played into the concept here. The episode focuses on a remote that, when used, creates the most evil thing the user can think of. Basically it creates a bunch of weird copies of Black Hat, the main character, but Demencia seems pretty turned on by them (especially the last one, a big muscular version of him), and I thought maybe she’d like to have a little fun with them.

Hunter × Hunter Near Hentai Monthly Lady

NHML – Neferpitou

The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for July is Neferpitou from Hunter × Hunter. I know there’s some debate over this character’s gender in the fandom, but since the design includes noticeable chest bumps and this is the Near Hentai Monthly Lady, I’ll be referring to them as a female (also, as far as I can tell, the debate revolves around physical gender, not gender identity).

She’s the second H×H character to be featured in NHML, and since Killua was paired with Canary for that pic, I decided to pair Pitou with Gon. I don’t know what kind of relationship these two might’ve had in the series. Pitou seems to be a luitenant to the main villain of an arc or two, but then possibly switches sides? I have not done proper research here, but the scenes I saw of her seemed to suggest that.

Ghost Sweeper Mikami Near Hentai Monthly Lady

NHML – Medusa

The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for June 2017 is Medusa, a minor villain from Ghost Sweeper Mikami (a show that’s been featured on NHML once before). Her main story takes up two episodes, and focuses on her attempting to murder the dragon prince Tenryūdōji. I thought Tenryūdōji was really cute, too, so I decided to pair the two of them up for this picture. Since my copy of the show is in raw Japanese, I don’t necessarily know how either character talks, but I wanted to include dialogue to fill in the extra space her weapon created. I like this dynamic for them.

NHML – Canary

So after several nominations, Canary was finally able to win the random Near Hentai Monthly Lady drawing, and here is her pic. I don’t know a whole lot about the character, but from what I can tell she’s very loyal to Killua (she appears to be some sort of battle butler for his family), so I decided to pair the two of them up. Besides the esteem she seems to hold him in, I also really liked the contrast their color schemes created.

Near Hentai Monthly Lady Ranma ½

NHML – Shampoo

The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for April is Shampoo from Ranma ½. I’ve never really watched this show and have just a passing pop culture knowledge of it, but I figured this would be as good a time as any to do the first pure yuri pic in the NHML series. So, I used Ranma’s female form, who is pretty cute as well, for a pic I’m pretty happy with. There’s also something kind of funny to me about a character who’s usually a guy choosing to use a strap on when turned into a girl. I don’t know, just feels right.

My Hero Academia Near Hentai Monthly Lady

NHML – Mitsuki Bakugou

I got this started much later than I’d intended, but once I was working on it things moved surprisingly fast. I didn’t even have time to post this one in the preview bar.

So this is the Near Hentai Monthly Lady for March 2016, Mitsuki Bakugou from My Hero Academia. I’ve drawn MHA a couple times, always yaoi of the hero Deku, but I’ve been wanting to delve into the female characters for a while now. Mitsuki wasn’t my first pick, since she’s an extremely minor character at this point (3-4 page scene in the manga, not in the anime at all yet), but she was still one I really wanted to draw. There’s just something really sexy about her design, even though (or perhaps because) she’s mostly just her son Katsuki with huge tits.

In her brief appearance in the manga, she’s shown to have something of a volatile relationship with Katsuki. They yell at each other, call each other names, and she hits him a few times, but it all seems pretty loving in a dysfunctional sort of way. I thought it’d be fun if their relationship was slightly different behind closed doors… Katsuki is used to getting his way all the time, and that probably started in his home life.

Ghost Sweeper Mikami Near Hentai Monthly Lady

NHML – Reiko Mikami

The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for February 2017 is Reiko Mikami, the protagonist of Ghost Sweeper Mikami. I was only loosely familiar with this franchise before now, but I’ve seen a few episodes now and I kind of like it. The show has a really nice early 90’s charm to it, with some fun and interesting ghost stories and a good sense of humor. I don’t want to make any promises, but I wouldn’t mind returning to this series some time. There are a lot of beautiful women in this show, some who only appear for that episode’s plot, so if I get more into it it could be a good source for new material. On the other hand, it’s relatively obscure, so it may not be worth it if nobody will care. ^_^;;

For this entry I decided to pair Mikami up with her assistant, Tadao Yokoshima. Tadao is a perverted teenager, who’s constantly hitting on the aforementioned beautiful women, and is of course obsessed with Reiko. I enjoy pairing desperate characters up with the objects of their affections (as long as said desperate character retains their likability, which Tadao more or less does), so this seemed like the best way to introduce this franchise to the Near Hentai brand. Whether I end up doing more with Ghost Sweeper Mikami, I’m at least happy that I got to do these two together.

NHML – Biscuit Krueger

So here’s the Near Hentai Monthly Lady for January 2017, Hunter × Hunter’s Biscuit Krueger. I decided to pair her up with both Gon and Killua, since they’ve become mainstays around here, and consequently they’ve got her pretty busy. I realized a bit too late that Biscuit herself ended up a bit covered up in this pose, but I do still like the final product. Maybe I’ll draw her again some day, and let some more of the goods show there.
