So after several nominations, Canary was finally able to win the random Near Hentai Monthly Lady drawing, and here is her pic. I don’t know a whole lot about the character, but from what I can tell she’s very loyal to Killua (she appears to be some sort of battle butler for his family), so I decided to pair the two of them up. Besides the esteem she seems to hold him in, I also really liked the contrast their color schemes created.
The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for April is Shampoo from Ranma ½. I’ve never really watched this show and have just a passing pop culture knowledge of it, but I figured this would be as good a time as any to do the first pure yuri pic in the NHML series. So, I used Ranma’s female form, who is pretty cute as well, for a pic I’m pretty happy with. There’s also something kind of funny to me about a character who’s usually a guy choosing to use a strap on when turned into a girl. I don’t know, just feels right.
I got this started much later than I’d intended, but once I was working on it things moved surprisingly fast. I didn’t even have time to post this one in the preview bar.
So this is the Near Hentai Monthly Lady for March 2016, Mitsuki Bakugou from My Hero Academia. I’ve drawn MHA a couple times, always yaoi of the hero Deku, but I’ve been wanting to delve into the female characters for a while now. Mitsuki wasn’t my first pick, since she’s an extremely minor character at this point (3-4 page scene in the manga, not in the anime at all yet), but she was still one I really wanted to draw. There’s just something really sexy about her design, even though (or perhaps because) she’s mostly just her son Katsuki with huge tits.
In her brief appearance in the manga, she’s shown to have something of a volatile relationship with Katsuki. They yell at each other, call each other names, and she hits him a few times, but it all seems pretty loving in a dysfunctional sort of way. I thought it’d be fun if their relationship was slightly different behind closed doors… Katsuki is used to getting his way all the time, and that probably started in his home life.
The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for February 2017 is Reiko Mikami, the protagonist of Ghost Sweeper Mikami. I was only loosely familiar with this franchise before now, but I’ve seen a few episodes now and I kind of like it. The show has a really nice early 90’s charm to it, with some fun and interesting ghost stories and a good sense of humor. I don’t want to make any promises, but I wouldn’t mind returning to this series some time. There are a lot of beautiful women in this show, some who only appear for that episode’s plot, so if I get more into it it could be a good source for new material. On the other hand, it’s relatively obscure, so it may not be worth it if nobody will care. ^_^;;
For this entry I decided to pair Mikami up with her assistant, Tadao Yokoshima. Tadao is a perverted teenager, who’s constantly hitting on the aforementioned beautiful women, and is of course obsessed with Reiko. I enjoy pairing desperate characters up with the objects of their affections (as long as said desperate character retains their likability, which Tadao more or less does), so this seemed like the best way to introduce this franchise to the Near Hentai brand. Whether I end up doing more with Ghost Sweeper Mikami, I’m at least happy that I got to do these two together.
So here’s the Near Hentai Monthly Lady for January 2017, Hunter × Hunter’s Biscuit Krueger. I decided to pair her up with both Gon and Killua, since they’ve become mainstays around here, and consequently they’ve got her pretty busy. I realized a bit too late that Biscuit herself ended up a bit covered up in this pose, but I do still like the final product. Maybe I’ll draw her again some day, and let some more of the goods show there.
The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for December 2016 is Nico Robin from One Piece. While working out various sketches for what to do with her, I hit upon the idea for this pic, which necessitated adding Nami. Since nobody seemed to mind her inclusion, I ran with it, and this is the end result. I tried my best to make it clear that it’s Sanji fucking Nami and Zoro fucking Robin, but who know’s if it’s clear without being spelled out. All four characters are sporting their attire from the Dressrosa arc, as requested in the cBox.
So the Near Hentai Monthly Lady for November 2016 is Revy from the anime Black Lagoon. I have a friend who really likes this show, but I’ve never really watched it myself. I don’t know much about it or the main characters, so I decided to keep this pic fairly straightforward and just have Revy showing off her body while riding some dick. There are a handful of interesting-looking female characters in this show, if I ever do end up watching it there might be more of them on here. Balalaika, Eda, Sawyer, Jane, Shenhua…. there were several I took note of. ^_^
As for Revy herself, best I can tell she’s like a more metal version of Lara Croft, at least design-wise she’s always given me that impression. I tried to reflect her action girl personality by having her pretty chill here… But honestly I don’t know enough about the character to know the best way to present her. Nonetheless, I hope you guys at least appreciate the view.
The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for October is Vados from Dragon Ball Super. I was pretty excited when she won, because I’ve been meaning to draw her ever since she first appeared in the show. Both her and her brother Whis are sexy as fuck, and I’d love to feature them more on the site. I have quite a few ideas for both of them, but we’ll see what I actually get around to drawing.
In this case, I went with a suggestion made by the guy who nominated her in the first place. Cabba here doesn’t have much interaction with Vados that I can recall, but since she put together Champa’s team for the tournament I thought there’d be some potential there. Cabba himself is pretty cute, I’d like to draw him with Vegeta one of these days.
So the Near Hentai Monthly Lady for this month ended up being Palutena, the goddess from the Kid Icarus games. Some of you may recall not long ago I ran a poll asking who the sexiest video game characters were, and a perennial favorite was Pit, the protagonist of those games, so I figured this was a good chance to introduce him to the blog as well.
I’ve never played Kid Icarus, but I’ve played a lot of Super Smash Bros., so I feel like I know these characters pretty well through those games. I really like both of them, and have come close to drawing both of them in different SSB pics from time to time, but I’ve never been able to settle on any of my ideas for those games. This pic is a lot more straight forward than those pics were, just an angel boy and his goddess. I put them in Palutena’s bath, which was in one of the anime scenes for Kid Icarus Uprising. I have no idea if it’s in any of the games, but I thought Pit helping Palutena relax in her giant hot tub room seemed like as good a place as any for them to bone. This is why she doesn’t have any of her usual accessories; she was already fully naked and soaking when Pit walked in (probably by mistake, you know how anime boys are).
The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for August 2016 is Nancy ‘Buddy’ Armstrong of the popular RPG Maker series “LISA”. I’ve never played any of these games, but I’ve been hearing more and more about them this month, though part of that just might be me noticing them more because of this picture.
I only did a cursory bit of research for this picture. What I saw of the games seemed vaguely post-apocalyptic, with most of the game looking desert-esque and having lots of grotesque mutants. I decided to go with a simple approach with the picture and have Buddy paired up with some random guy. I tried to keep some of her more recognizable design elements, since her appearance changes throughout the game(s). This one had a unique challenge for me, since I typically base my art style on whatever source material I have, and here I only had a pixely game sprite and some fan art to go off of. Hopefully fans of the game will still be able to recognize her and appreciate this piece.
