So this is one where I didn’t so much have a great or interesting answer in mind, but more just thought it’d be fun to draw Chel again. Rather than pair her with an anon or someone else from around the Studio, I put her with one of her boys. Of the two, I remember Tulio being the one she had better chemistry with.
This pic is sorta a long time coming, I think. Chel from The Road to El Dorado was an early cartoon crush, I always really liked her design and she’s a very fun character in the movie. Of course, by the time I started drawing for the internet it had been years since I’d seen the movie, so she wasn’t as prominent in my thoughts as she had been when I was a kid. Still, I’d be reminded of her every now and then, and always felt the itch to draw her, but for whatever reason I never got around to it until now. Here she is, though, one more childhood crush crossed off the list. I can’t say if I’ll do more with her or if this is it, but I guess it’ll depend largely on how well this pic is received.
