Apologies to anyone disappointed he’s not getting a train run on him here, but I felt like this innocent sort of response felt more in-character based on what I’ve seen of Hayato. Something about innocently volunteering for it just because it has something to do with trains is cute, I think. His response ended up a bit more rambling than I’d originally intended, mostly because I realized volunteering for something that might be dangerous would be off the table, but as long as he feels safe he seems down.
