The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for August 2022 is Brandish µ from Fairy Tail. I didn’t know much about this character, so I had to do some research on her. I noticed she has an interesting relationship with Lucy Heartfilia, a character who I often get requests and NHML nominations for, and I found a cute bath scene between them that I decided to base the pic off of. Brandish kinda forces Lucy to wear this collar and cat ears during their bath together, and there’s a bit of a lezdom dynamic to it that I liked.
With this post, NHML nominations for the month of September are now open. For those who don’t know, I’ll run down the rules real quick. Nominations are limited to one per person. You can nominate any female character you want, provided I have not drawn her within the past calendar year (though I prefer characters I’ve never drawn, period). Previous NHML winners are not eligible for a second time. Nominees must also not be from the same franchise as this month’s winner, Fairy Tail. If you violate any of those rules, I’ll let you know, and you can nominate someone else. I know it can be hard to keep track of these things. You may nominate by either commenting in the cBox, commenting on this post, or emailing me (Nearphotison2010@yahoo.com). I’ll compile a list of the nominees in the sidebar of this site, and then on September 1st I will use a randomizer to select the winning character who I will proceed to draw sometime that month. When me and some others started nominating Vtubers, he asked if the persons behind the avatars have given aproval of lewd art made out of them, to add them to NHML… and Jaiden Animation stated many times to dislike lewd art made out of her, despite the inmense amount of it.
So let’s see what Near says, but just in case, have a 2nd nominee in case he reject her.

Most of the discussion around Jaiden’s avatar being lewded comes from her fans. When I heard her talk about it herself, her stance seemed to be she wasn’t bothered by it, only by people posting it around places where her young fans were likely to see it. So, while she definitely doesn’t encourage it the way many Vtubers do, I think I can allow it… If she wins I’ll just have to make sure to not post her to Twitter.
