Near Pokédex

Near Pokédex M058 – Growlithe

Here’s Growlithe’s entry for the Near Pokédex M, as voted for by my supporters a while back. I knew I wanted to do a doggystyle pic for this one, but while I was working I just got more in the mood for a nice dominant pose. My first attempt was more behind them, so you’d see the penetration and Growlithe’s dick and all that, but it wasn’t working like I wanted and I ended up giving up on that. This one worked fine, though, and I do like what I was able to do with Growlithe’s expression and the light fish hooking. Anyway, I hope you all like the final product here. ^_^

Near Pokédex M447 – Riolu

So the last poll I did for the ‘dex saw Riolu win in a landslide (Riolu had 22 votes, second place had 9). This entry completes this evolutionary line in the male version of the Near Pokédex (though neither Riolu nor Lucario have shown up in the female version yet). Riolu’s not hugely different from Lucario in terms of design and anatomy, so there wasn’t much difference in how I handled the redesign here from when I did NPM448.

Near Pokédex F134 – Vaporeon

So Vaporeon won my last poll for the ‘dex. It’s not surprising to see another Eevee-line winner (Eevee tied for first on my last male poll, too), and I kinda suspect we’ll be seeing a lot more of the Eeveelutions through this polling system in the future. I always imagined Vaporeon to have a smooth texture instead of being furry like most of the Eeveelutions, so for this one I tried to make her extra shiny to convey that. I had a little bit of trouble fitting the full drawing into here without making them too small, so apologies her hand is off-screen and the tail’s partially obscured/cut off, but I think this is the best framing of it possible.

Near Pokédex M133 – Eevee

So here’s Eevee, who tied with Squirtle in the last Near Pokédex poll I ran. Now that they’re both done, I’ll be moving on to an entry for the female Pokédex (which one has yet to be determined). Hope you all like this entry. It didn’t go exactly as I’d hoped, so it’s difficult for me to look at it with fresh eyes, but I think it’s at least still cute.

Near Pokédex M007 – Squirtle

So I had a poll like usual to determine the next Near Pokédex M entry a while back, and it came down to a draw between Squirtle and Eevee. I decided the only right thing to do is both of them, so the next Near Pokédex entry (whenever that comes) will also be a male entry. In the meantime, here’s Squirtle, finally rounding out the Gen 1 starters for both NPM and NPF (though their evolutions are far from complete just yet). I always have problems drawing anthro turtles. I don’t know how their shells are supposed to work, and just like with the NPF Squirtle I ended up kinda winging it and hoping for the best. I’ll probably end up doing the same for any other future turtle Pokémon that show up for the ‘dex.

Near Pokédex F038 – Ninetales

It’s been on the backburner for far too long, but I finally got around to finishing a new entry in the Near Pokédex. Everyone at the time voted for the next NPF entry to be a Ninetales, and here she is! I wanted to do something with her ass raised in the air, so that I could show the tails fanning out like this. I went for a blowjob at this angle so I could keep her face somewhat visible (whenever I tried to give the view I wanted in penetration positions, her tails obscured basically everything above the waist). I think the final result is pretty interesting, and I hope you all like it. ^_^

Charmander and Bulbasaur Character Ask 1

Asks for the Pokémon, even the Near Pokédex ones, are always hard because I try not to ever have them talk. I suppose with the anthro designs for the ‘dex versions they might could, but it feels weird and I prefer not to have them talk with words. So with this Ask, where my thought process was “If you’re picking a starter for your adventure, that’s a personal decision”, I decided to just have both Charmander and Bulbasaur present the goods. It’s up to the trainer to decide who will be the best fit for them on their Pokémon journey.

Also, I’m trying out a new thing. Just me rambling for about twenty minutes or so:

Ash Ketchum Character Ask 4

So here’s the thing about Near Pokédex. It’s probably obvious, but it doesn’t take place in the main Pokémon continuity. I don’t just mean because of the whole “Pokémon are anthro” angle to the series, but also the fact that I’ve never directly used any of the characters from the anime or games. Sure, I borrow elements from them, specifically in clothing, but if you look at a guy in that series who seems to be dressed like Ash, he’s very clearly drawn with a much different body type than when I usually draw Ash. This had led to some confusion in that series, like when I used Gary Oak’s hairstyle for the Eevee trainer and people thought he was just a buff Gary (which is understandable, I guess changing the clothes really isn’t enough to establish it’s a different character), or when Ms. Mime’s trainer had James-esque hair despite it being a different color.
Anyway, my point here is that the Near Pokédex series is not meant to be mixed with the main series in any capacity, but with Character Asks we can kinda dodge these rules. Earlier I did one where the NPM version of Sylveon was paired with Trainer Anya (a character who kinda exists in her own continuity, but is definitely closer to the original show than she is to the Near Pokédex), and now we get to see NPM Pikachu with main series Ash. I know a lot of people have mixed feelings about my Pokédex designs, and honestly Pikachu’s one of the ones I most understand people finding creepy, but hopefully even those people can still enjoy Ash in this response. 😛
