This Ask is referencing Jody Crowley’s first Ask, in which Nobara appears. There’s a few potential futas in the Studio, and based on other questions this Subscriber submitted I think they probably had Harkey D. Quinfy in mind. Maybe we can do something with Nobara and Harkey eventually, but I had this image in mind of Nobara having to deal with Inky and Pinky, two OCs of mine from the Spookyverse who can be something of a handful for whomever they set their sights on. I imagine Nobara recruited them to help her demonstrate her answer, but then these two completely overtook the shoot with their antics.

Evan King Character Ask 1

Evan King is the monster hunter character I introduced in my last Halloween pic, an aspiring Van Helsing-type who seems to always end up becoming the plaything of the monsters he hunts. Loona’s kind of a natural pairing for him, and I haven’t drawn her much at all outside of one commission where she’s mostly hidden. I dunno why, but I thought the idea of Loona toying with him with her feet was particularly funny, like an absurd way to end up helpless, but I hope y’all will enjoy getting to see a bit more of her as well as our first look at Evan without his hooded jacket.

Halloween Specials Spookyverse

Near Halloween 2022

So, every year I like to add one new monster character to my “Spookyverse” lineup. I was thinking over a few different ideas for what monster type to go with this year, when I had a parallel idea for a human character. So, meet Evan King, a would-be monster hunter. Evan wants really badly to hunt monsters, but it seems like whenever he tries he ends up failing in some way and played with by the monster instead. I think it’s a fun gimmick, but we’ll see how much he actually gets used. As for the monster he failed to defeat this time, our debuting character is Gillian Randwulf, our second werewolf character (though not related to Diego). Enjoy and Happy Halloween!

Cristina’s Broodmate

My Halloween pic for 2020 debuted the vampiress Cristina de Sange, a powerful countess-type vampire with several minions under her, similar to Lady Dimitrescu. She debuted with one of her thralls, Maria, but I always wanted to expand her brood with more members in later updates (similar to the witch coven characters in the same universe). So, here’s Felicia Drake, a cute pigtailed vampire with bright red hair. I hope to get around to adding more vampire ladies to this cast eventually, though we’ll see how things go.

Clyde the Clown Bio

I’d originally planned for the Bio pages for both of the clowns to go public in the year between last year’s Halloween and this one, but never really got around to it now.

Clyde’s the loli of the group, and the only one without a dick. When I first decided to make both Blinky and Clyde, when I thought about Clyde I immediately pictured Tear from “That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime”. I like the idea of her being the cute, quiet, nicest one of the group, but if you took off her mask you might see some Lovecraftian horror that’ll scar you for life, if you survive.

Blinky the Clown Bio

I’d originally planned for the Bio pages for both of the clowns to go public in the year between last year’s Halloween and this one, but never really got around to it now.
Blinky’s the only boy of the group, a predictably mischievous prankster-type shota. I worked in a bit of a fiery element to his look, since he was gonna be red anyway. I also thought it’d be fun for him to have a langolier ball, although I highly doubt it’ll play into any pics with him. However, if you imagine what he’d be like in a horror movie, you can imagine him doing clown tricks with it like it was a regular rubber ball, then throwing it at some hapless victim.

Near Halloween 2021

So, the “Class Clowns” comic was originally going to be my public post on Halloween day, but I realized while I was working on it that I hadn’t really given a good view of Inky or Pinky outside of a few quick glances at their designs. So, I decided I would close the comic with this pic, which is done in the more traditional style I’ve done for Halloweens past (that is, a single image of the new monster character(s) with a text variant). This serves as the conclusion of the comic, and is the last time I plan to draw these four in this specific scene. Anyway, I hope you all like it!

Class Clowns

So, every year for Halloween I like to introduce some new monster characters into the Spookyverse. I thought it’d be fun to do a monster clown this year, and I got attached to this idea of two monster clowns stalking some schoolgirls in an empty high school. The idea seemed like it’d need to be more than one pic, though, so I decided to do a little standalone comic for it. This one ended up a little busy, but I hope everyone will be able to enjoy all the action.
The clown girls didn’t originally have names, but as I was working on it I started referring to the pink-haired one in my head as Pinky the Clown. Since I played so much Pac-Man as a kid, this lead to me also calling the blue-haired one Inky the Clown. Those names stuck, and now they’re just named after Pac-Man ghosts. Talking with some of my Subscribers, I decided it’d be fun to also include a Blinky and Clyde, even though they don’t appear in this comic. I’ll probably do bio pages for all four clowns eventually, but I picture Blinky as a red shota clown, and Clyde as an orange loli with a look similar to Tear from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. I kinda like the idea of all four of them roaming this high school like the Pac-Man ghosts themselves, and Inky and Pinky were just the lucky ones who found Heather and Grace first.
Speaking of Heather and Grace, they were really just designed to be two human girls the clowns could violate. I do like them, though, and if y’all want to see more of them I could see maybe integrating them into the Applebridge universe or something. As for this incarnation of them, though, they’ll only show up again on the Halloween special that will serve as the finale of this comic, basically, which will be a normal single pic of all four characters from this comic.
