For our second “Damsel” ClashMe profile, Subscribers voted for Princess Jasmine from Aladdin. In the Studio, Jasmine’s gotten a bit into exploring a safe version of what would otherwise have been a traumatic experience. The ClashMe app is a useful way for her to find partners for it. You can view this profile as a bit of a preview for her DVD cover, too, whenever that comes around.
For our third ClashMe profile we have Himiko Toga. This is our first villain profile, and like with the other two my Subscribers voted for her from a list of ten random Studio villains. I had to tone down her proclivities a bit, ’cause even for roleplay I don’t think Studio Toga would take things as far as her canon version might. Hopefully I found a good balance here, and next time we’ll be back with another hero profile.
About a month ago I shared the first “ClashMe” profile, showcasing a fictional in-Studio app that facilitates hero/villain roleplay hookups. That profile was of the hero variety, but an important role in many hero and villain stories is that of the damsel in distress. Studio members who don’t want to fight for good or evil, but instead be fought over, can make an account in this category, which we see here. Like before I let my Subscribers vote from a random selection of potential characters, with Princess Zelda getting the win. Zelda’s certainly someone who has some experience with this role, and she’s showing it off a bit here in her profile.
So I mentioned a while ago taking a break from the Studio Life Magazine covers, but that I’d be placing a different solo character series in that spot. This is that. This is a combination of a few old ideas, spurred on by a discussion with a Subscriber. The first post kinda explains the premise, but basically this is a hook-up app for heroes and villains looking to do some roleplay in the Studio. I’ve done a few pics already leaning into some characters enjoying this dynamic, so for this series we’ll get to see their profiles. Since there’s three types of ClashMe profiles, I’ll cycle through the types each time, with Subscribers voting on who gets the spotlight. The first one was decided a while ago, but it was for Sailor Venus. Since this is a preliminary run for this series I hope it’ll be fun for y’all, and I’ll be back in about a month with a “damsel” profile.
