This is the Patreon one-shot comic for February, which was completed one month ago today. Not only did my Patreon supporters get to the this comic (at full size) then, but they also voted for its content the month before. I believe the Patron who submitted this comic concept referred to it as “Gohan’s Harem” or something along those lines, but the idea is fairly clear. There’s some kinda time travel shenanigans going on in this comic, but given that we’ve seen that sort of thing before in this room, that hopefully won’t keep anyone from enjoying this comic.
The Near Hentai Monthly Lady this month is Erasa from Dragon Ball Z. I’ve drawn her once before (with Videl), but it’s been long enough that she qualified for nomination and she just happened to win the drawing this month. I decided to pair her with both Videl and Gohan this time around, for a slight change from last time (though I ended up cropping most of Gohan out to keep Erasa as the focus).
I wanted to do some MomSwap entries with Dragon Ball, since it’s the most popular franchise for me to do around here. The only problem is, to do Mother/Daughter pairings in DB you basically have to go with DBGT (there’s Bulma and her mom, but I prefer for Bulma to be the mother in this case). So, I have three DBGT entries planned for MomSwap, though the other two won’t be the next entries. I’ll do them at some point, just not sure when.
I’m planning to take a little break from MomSwap for a while, since it feels like I’ve been doing them rather frequently so far. They’re a lot of fun and can be pretty quick and easy to do, which is perfect for right now when I’m working on getting these Patreon-sponsored comic pages out. One of the two is done now, by the way, so one month from today it’ll show up here on the blog. Of course you can see it now (plus the other page, and if you do $5 or more extra large early access versions of my other work) if you support me on Patreon: patreon.com/Nearphotison.
So I mentioned yesterday that the “Aftermath Prologue” picture was originally a full color commission, but due to miscommunication and a sudden change of heart from the client, it was turned into two lineart pics. Well, this is the other lineart pic. Normally I would not accept a commission like this, but I decided it was better to accept this than refund the payments that had already been made. Apparently the previous picture was also supposed to be innocent like this, somehow, which is what lead to the whole confusing mess. This client also bought up my second commission slot that was open, and after some changes from what I was originally told it is going to be a full-color pic along the same lines as this one.
Once these commissions are out of the way, though, don’t expect to see too much clothing around here for a while.
This is probably the only pencil work where I can keep some of the original sketch material. I really like this pic, even if I didn’t actually ink and color the “good” parts. This one, to my knowledge, never got fully shaded by PBX. I’m hoping to do more of those sketches floating around the ‘net in the future.
I love working with Pandoras Box’s work. I hope I’ll be able to do a lot more with PBX’s old stuff; I’ve set aside a lot of them to ink and color in the future.
