May ’15 WWOTM – Marina

The WWOEC Woman of the Month for May 2015 is Marina from Zig & Sharko, a French cartoon about a Hyena that tries to eat this little lady, and the shark who protects her. I’m not sure why she needs the shark to protect her, but after watching a couple episodes I decided I really don’t care for this series and didn’t watch any more. It has a typical Looney Tunes set-up, but the humor is pretty flat and none of the characters are likable or entertaining. Marina here is basically Disney’s Ariel in a different art style (and none of the personality), and the other characters aren’t any more interesting than that.

I went with a simple approach this month because 1) I feel my options are limited with mermaids and 2) I didn’t have enough time (or motivation) to do something more complex. Still, I think it’s pretty decent, and hopefully some of you guys will enjoy it.

Sasuke the Pimp

This image started as a commission, but the commissioner wanted to keep their purchase private. I support that, but since I put a lot of work into this image, I convinced them to let me release an altered version, which you see here. Prostitution is not a theme I typically visit, but here’s one pic of it for those of you who enjoy that.

I never really cared for Naruto myself. I read the first few volumes of the manga, but it never held my interest and I gravitated away to other things. So, probably there won’t be much else of Naruto on from me in the future, unless it’s commissioned or crops up in a crossover project of some kind (of which I have a few planned).

I recently finished my time at university, and should have a lot more time to devote to my art now. I have another commission or two I need to work on, and then I’d like to get back to Eromugen and some other pics that have been sitting half-finished on my computer for a while. Once I get caught up, I’d like to try starting some other comics that update a page at a time like Eromugen, though we’ll see just how much time I actually end up having.

April ’15 WWOTM – Gloria Ookanda

The WWOEC Woman of the Month for April 2015 is Gloria Ookanda from PriPara. She was my nomination, and some of you may remember the earlier picture I did of her. I’ve become steadily more obsessed with this crazy woman, and fully expect to do more of her in the future. I don’t know exactly what it is, but she’s quickly climbed up into my top five animated women, and I’m already planning a yuri picture of her for the future.

As for this one, I already had it partway done as a follow-up to the previous pic I did. Even with it mostly finished I still had trouble finding time to wrap it up, thanks to me being in my final semester of university. However, a few weeks from now, I’m looking forward to having a lot more time to devote to this blog! This pic is also the first with my new watermark, which is just a simple stylized ‘N’ that I think is a lot less distracting (if also less helpful) than the website URL that I’ve been using.

Pearl Display

Some of you may remember way back in June of last year my drawing of Steven Universe’s Garnet that used heavy referencing to create a slightly more photo-realistic version of the character for a sexy montage. At the time I said I wanted to do similar pics for Pearl and Amethyst, which I’m still working on (just slowly, and in the background). I have images drawn up for both pics, and this one here is one that I couldn’t quite get to fit into the collage. I liked it, though, so here it is.

This is how Pearl will look in my final collage picture, a little thicker than her show counterpart and with an attempt to show a realistic interpretation of her face. I’m pretty happy with the changes, though I do think I’d like to take a stab at drawing a more cartoony, on-model version of her somewhere down the line.

Son Bonding 1

Let’s wrap the month of March up with this Dragonball Z pic. This isn’t part of a series, but if it was it’d be the second following October’s Ash or Ashley? pic. I drew this one a few months ago, working on it a little here and there between commissions and other bigger projects. I’m pretty happy with the final result, I don’t get to do much DBZ stuff these days outside of the occasional Pandoras Box color job.

Garnet & Pearl – Sex on the Beach

I’ve been watching a lot of Steven Universe lately, and did this quick little picture as a result. I really want to do a lot more SU stuff in the future, if I can find the time. I still have larger montage pics in the works for Pearl and Amethyst, but I also want to do a lot more with Garnet, as well as Lapis Lazuli, Stevonnie, Opal, and maybe Connie as well. We’ll see, I always have way more ideas for pics than I’ll ever have the time to actually draw. :/

Big Hero 6 Commission, Part Two

This is the second in a three-part Big Hero 6 commission, with a focus on pegging. The premise here is that, in the process of developing her chem-balls, Honey decides to test out some non-combat functions with Wasabi and Fred. Neither of these guys are really my type (I prefer femboys, so Wasabi’s to buff for me and both have facial hair), but I tried to experiment with ways to portray them that I thought worked. I’m pretty happy with the result, and hopefully those of you who dofind more masculine guys attractive can also get into this. 🙂

March ’15 WWOTM – Debs Turnbull

The WWOEC Woman of the Month for March 2015 is Debbie “Debs” Turnbull, the mother from Robotboy. I’ve only seen a handful of episodes from this show and, honestly, I don’t particularly care for it. I do get why Debs would be a popular pick, given her generous hip size, but for me it was difficult to reconcile the show’s style (particularly in regard to the character’s heads). I ended up drawing them more like Minecraft characters, which I think worked since I can’t pull off a 2D look well. I think the final result here is… okay. I’m not crazy about this pic, but I don’t hate it either.

Lola and Tina Having Fun

Daffy got himself into some financial trouble with his usual schemes, but luckily Lola knows a good way to help Tina raise some quick cash.

I don’t know why, but I’m really feeling The Looney Tunes Show right now. I’m hoping to do a few more pictures with these characters, and possibly a few others from the show. Now that I’ve got the art style down better than I did they’re a lot quicker to get out than my usual pics. On top of that, the last one was pretty well-received, so I’m feeling pretty motivated to stick with them for a while.
