Cartoon Cartoon Character Asks Crossover Hanna-Barbera Johnny Bravo Scooby-Doo

While I’m sure he probably still comes on too strong most of the time, Johnny’s success rate in the Studio is bound to be better than it was in his original show. The third episode of that show was a fun crossover with Scooby-Doo, and I thought letting Johnny hook up with Daphne and Velma would be a fun and sensible first crossover for him. I don’t know how often I’ll be drawing him, since his stylized appearance and exaggerated proportions don’t naturally translate easily into my usual style, but I really wanted to fit this in while he’s on my mind. In the episode Johnny hits on Daphne, who rebuffs him like all the women in the show do, while Velma’s into him but ignored. I’d like to do an inverse of this dynamic eventually, where Velma gets some Bravo D, but for now I went this route since Daphne doesn’t always get as much love in my work.

Big Johnny In Little Suzy

Johnny Bravo’s a character who’s canonical proportions make him difficult to work with, but I wanted to take a stab at this pairing so I went for it. Hopefully I was able to find a middle ground. There’s a couple of ideas I’ve had for Bravo content in my head for a good while now, we’ll see if I get to any of them, but in the meantime I think this is a fun first attempt.

Marie Kanker of the infamous Kanker Sisters is the first Near Hentai Monthly Lady of 2022. I admit, I’m not really confident in my ability to adapt the Ed, Edd n Eddy style into my own, but I did my best here. While Marie’s the obvious hot one of the trio, I do like her sisters May and Lee, too, so I worked them all in here while Marie rides Edd.

With this post, NHML nominations for the month of February are now open. For those who don’t know, I’ll run down the rules real quick. Nominations are limited to one per person. You can nominate any female character you want, provided I have not drawn her within the past calendar year (though I prefer characters I’ve never drawn, period). Previous NHML winners are not eligible for a second time. Nominees must also not be from the same franchise as this month’s winner, Ed, Edd n Eddy. If you violate any of those rules, I’ll let you know, and you can nominate someone else. I know it can be hard to keep track of these things. I’ll compile a list of the nominees in the sidebar of this site, and then on February 1st I will use a randomizer to select the winning character who I will proceed to draw sometime that month. NHS MILFs – Dexter’s Mom

Dexter’s parents go unnamed throughout the run of Dexter’s Lab, which is a little awkward for a series like this that has characters’ names plastered on the image. I did come across one site claiming her name (in the writer’s room) was Spencer O’Reilly-McPherson, but I decided it’d be confusing if this pic just had “Spencer” in big letters instead (plus I couldn’t confirm this name). At any rate, I’d been meaning to draw Dexter’s Mom again for a while, and this series was a good excuse to take another crack at her. She’s a classic thicc MILF from my era, and a lot of fun to work with. I decided to have her ditch her iconic gloves for this pic, though I think she’ll most likely be wearing them if I draw her again.

Dexter’s Mom

So the other day I saw something that reminded me of Dexter’s mom from Dexter’s Laboratory. I’ve always really liked her, and have wanted to draw her for ages. I decided instead of doing what I normally do (starting a pic and then never finishing it because something more important comes up), I’d do a quick solo pic. I wanted to show off her best asset, but other than making sure she’s facing the right way it’s a pretty straightforward idea. I’d like to draw this lady again some time, though I can’t say for sure when that’ll be. I’m pretty confident she’ll at least show up in MomSwap at some point, but other than that it’s hard to know. I’d like to bring her back occasionally if I can, though.

August ’15 WWOTM – Sedusa

The WWOEC Woman of the Month for August 2015 is Sedusa from the Powerpuff Girls. I was excited when I first saw her name pop up, I used to watch PPG a lot as a kid and I always liked Sedusa. However, I soon found myself with too many ideas, and I struggled with picking something. Ultimately I decided to go with a simple approach, something I knew I could finish before the month was up. However, I have a lot of sketches lying around featuring her with the Powerpuff Girls, Ms. Bellum, previous WWOTM Ms. Keane, and in a variety of poses. I did a bunch of gang bang pics, but I thought they looked too much like last month’s pic. I drew her like you see her here, and also did some of her “Ima Goodelady” disguise. I don’t want to make any promises, but if I find the time I may come back to her later and flesh some of those sketches into finished pieces that I can post here.

DTiberius – Jennifer Hale Tribute

I love crossovers (shock and awe, amirite?), so when I came across this pic by DTiberius I absolutely had to color it. For those not in the know, Jennifer Hale is a very talented voice actress. Supposedly these are all characters that she’s voiced, although I’m pretty sure Erin Esurance was voiced by Mo Mellady, but what do I know. Either way, I definitely had a blast coloring this one.
