A lot of people like these types of comparisons when you have alien super species. I think power works differently in Dragon Ball than many other franchises, though, and tried to work that into the answer. I should also note that, despite what he’s saying here, Vegeta did decide to go blue on Mark.
I mentioned in Envy’s Ask with Choso how I figured he’d crash Ed’s debut shoot. I considered including him here, too, but I figured it’d be better to just focus on Ed and Mustang’s dynamic a little instead.
The relationship between Mai and Maki, and furthermore Nobara’s relationship with each sister, is complicated and I won’t get into it here. However, with Mai debuting as an anon one of Nobara’s scenes, I think at least these two are on the right path to working things out in the Studio.
So, while Cloud’s sword may be a reference to Guts’s, his dick isn’t, so the gimmick I’ve done with Guts doesn’t always play out evenly. There had been some attempt to do this crossover before that didn’t pan out for one reason or another, but I figured I could make it work here for anyone interested in this crossover.
So I know this may not be the most exciting Ask. However, it’s been a long while since this Subscriber got an Ask, and I thought even if the answer’s not super interesting it might be cute to see Stark get a little flustered. Even if he’d normally be fine being naked for an Ask, I think talking about how he normally wears clothes is making him a bit more conscious than normal of his nudity. A simple Ask, but hopefully a cute one.
This was an Ask I had pinned for answering in last month’s batch, but I had over-prepared and it didn’t actually fit into the month at all. Luckily the Subscriber asked it again. I don’t think I have a lot to say about this one, but I figured some folks might like it.
I can’t recall if I’ve directly answered this before in a Spotlight or something, but it is a topic I figured would come up sooner or later in the Studio Tour game. I figured I could also answer it here, where more people will see it, while also getting a chance to draw Esmeralda again.
There were a few questions for Yelena after her NHML debut, mostly looking to see something between her and Eren. Without getting into spoilers too much, Yelena conspires a bit with Eren in season four, and this Ask is speculating on ways that could’ve gone. I think Yelena’s being a bit coy in her response, however, focusing more on what she was willing to do to secure Eren’s cooperation.
So I had this answer in mind pretty quickly on reading the question. When it came to finding a good villainous partner for him, though, I realized I haven’t done much with superhero-coded villains, and my options were limited. I did come up with a workaround, but I ended up going this route instead ’cause I haven’t used Venom in forever and I thought it’d be a fun pairing.
It’s been a bit since I’ve drawn Ben and Gwen. I think there’s something interesting in this dynamic when approached through the Studio, but I didn’t feel I could do much more than touch on it here. Regardless, I hope fans of these two will enjoy seeing them again.
