Since all the 1 Club pics I’ve done so far have ben straight or yuri, I told myself I’d make sure the next one would be yaoi. Warrior from Goblin Slayer stood out to me as an ideal pick for this series. Not only have I only drawn him once, the one time I did you could barely see him ’cause he was drowning in so much pussy. I think he’s a cutie, so then I needed to find a partner for him. One didn’t come to mind for a while, but I thought it’d be neat to find him a partner who’s just barely within the 10-posts threshold I like to use for this series. So I was browsing the tags on my site, looking at people with 10-11 posts, and Todoroki stood out to me. I don’t really think there’s any thematic link between these two, more just I wanted to draw Warrior and people are always wanting to see more Todoroki from me. So, these two facts come together in this pic that I hope y’all will enjoy.
I’m sure I’m not the only one who thought of Huey when they first saw Wolf in Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts. They’re both cute, angry little things with big hair (though Wolf’s can’t quite compare to Huey’s), and they seemed like a natural pairing for a series like the 1 Club. When I first drew Wolf sixty-nining with Kipo, I was confident I’d be drawing her a lot. I’m extremely fond of her, but for whatever reason I just never got around to drawing her again. Now that I managed to fit in a second appearance for her, we’ll see if I get around to using her more in the future.
Kylie Griffin is the female member of the Extreme Ghostbusters, a Ghostbusters cartoon I watched as a kid. She’s a pretty hot goth girl who’s kinda outlived the cartoon she was from (I’m sure if any of you don’t remember Extreme Ghostbusters, you’ve probably at least seen Kylie around before). I drew her once ages ago, in a pic playing off her past as a cheerleader. I thought she’d be an excellent candidate for the 1 Club series, though, and I can’t think of a better partner for her than Raven. Within the Near Hentai Studio, Raven has to be the number one goth, and I think they make a fine pair here.
