GeGeGe no Kitarō

Kitarō

I had been meaning to do something with Kitarō for a while, but never really got around to it. I’m actually not watching the show any more right now, which is probably a big part of why, since it’s not on my mind anymore. However, Kitarō was on the mind of one of my Epic Tier Patreon backers, and he commissioned this pic of Kitarō with a faceless yokai in the woods where they all live (the client picked the skin tone). It’s a simple pic, but I am glad I got at least one yaoi entry for this cute boy in my library.

MomSwap – Mana and Junko Inuyama

So I’ve been watching the newest version of GeGeGe no Kitarō. It’s not a perfect series, but I’ve been enjoying it, and I’ve had lots of ideas for different characters (yaoi, yuri, and straight). One pairing I caught on to as soon as both parties were introduced was Mana and her mother Junko. Mana’s a new character to this series, and serves as a sort of audience surrogate for the young target audience of the anime. Her mother Junko is barely a character, but she’s hot, and that’s all I needed to justify a MomSwap entry for the two of them. I wasn’t too sure how to write up the text portion of their entries, since the most I can think to say about either character is that they’re nice and pleasant, but I think this works. I hope you all like this new release, and I hope I can come back with more GeGeGe content in the near future!

Yūta-kun

I’ve been watching the latest version of GeGeGe no Kitarō, an old horror anime for kids that gets remade about once every ten years. The newest version is more like a shounen adventure anime than the usual ones, but I like it and have a lot of ideas for it. The show has one minor character that I instantly fell in love with, and that’s Yūta-kun. He’s a pretty insignificant part of the show, though he does have one episode so far dedicated to him. He’s the shy and delicate neighbor of Mana, who’s the new protagonist that befriends Kitarō, and the second I saw him I knew I had to draw him. I wanna draw him again, too, maybe where he’s being sweet and cute instead of getting wrecked like this. I drew him nude at first, but I decided to add his sweater vest because it’s really cute.
