This commission is from the same client that bought the last Max Goof pic, and has another coming up soonish. The premise is that Max is being punished for his bad grades (hence the ‘D-‘ paper on the bed), but he’s worked out some sex times instead of a normal grounding. Goofy’s not going to be satisfied with him hiding behind his hood the whole time, though.
So I woke up one morning with an intense urge to do something… simple, I guess? I’d been stressing a lot lately over the size of some of the projects I have yet to complete, and while the smart thing might would be to continue grinding away at everything, I felt I needed a bit of a break for the sake of my psyche. I had a sketch started from about a month ago that I decided to pick up and finish because I knew it would be easy and I could do it fast enough to still have time left to work on those other projects later. I’m pretty happy with the final pic, even if it’s not the most technically impressive piece I’ve ever put out.
Here is the One-Shot for December. This page was sent out to my backers one month ago today, when the Christmas elements were a bit more seasonal, but hopefully the fact that the holidays are behind us now won’t get in the way of your ability to enjoy this unique smattering of characters.
I managed to find some time to wrap up another Character Ask, this one directed at Hiro from Big Hero 6. I went back and forth some on how to answer this one, but ultimately I decided on GoGo for basically the reasons that Hiro lists here.

This is a sequel to the last Small One pic I did, commissioned by the same client. Even though I finished this pretty early in the month, I saved it for now so I could release it closer to Christmas. Tomorrow will be another Christmas-themed post, this time not a commission.
I’m still doing quick-style pics in between working on the larger, more time-consuming commissions I’m currently working through. I’m also using these pics as an excuse to draw some characters that I’ve wanted to draw for a while (the MHA girls, afro-Bulma, etc.), and Zootopia’s Judy Hopps is no different. Like many artists, I was immediately interested in her as soon as I saw the Zootopia teaser trailer in front of Inside Out, but for one reason or another I never really got around to drawing her until just now. Probably it’s due to the anxiety I have over not feeling like I do furry content very well…. If this pic gets a good response I might try and do more Zootopia content.
So, while going through old work folders to re-upload old shit to this new site, I came across two doujins I had already made a lot of progress in coloring. One is a DBZ doujin I plan to return to after I finish this one, but this one is a great Mickey/Minnie comic by an artist called hentaib. I tried contacting this artist on FurAffinity back in the day, and never heard back, but I’m going to go ahead and share my version of the comic anyway.
The artist is Japanese, and so this doujin reads right-to-left. It’s also based on something most of you probably won’t know (I had to do quite a bit of digging to figure it out). It’s based on the live show “Mysterious Masquerade” they did at Tokyo Disney Sea for Halloween in 2009. Basically, the plot revolves around a Halloween party by the Disney characters. The party is crashed by some ghosts (thanks to Donald fucking around with some cursed tribal mask’s spear), and everyone but Mickey ends up possessed. Daisy becomes an Aztec goddess, Goofy becomes a pirate, Chip and Dale become Chinese ghosts, and Minnie becomes an evil Egyptian Queen. While possessed they have no memory of who they used to be, which is what this comic focuses on. None of the other characters come into play here, but the main starting point for this comic seems to be a scene in the show where “Queen Minnie” doesn’t recognize Mickey and calls him a commoner. This doujin will show Mickey taking some extreme measures to try and get Minnie to remember him.

This is a commission I recently wrapped up, featuring the boy and his donkey from Disney’s Christmas special “The Small One”. It just happened to time out well that this one came out in December, but hopefully I will have more festive seasonal pics to share with you guys throughout the month.
So here’s the last of the three pics I had 100% complete for my scrapped “Bad Girls Month” project. Maleficent is a character I came to appreciate a lot more as an adult than I did when I was younger, and the chance to draw her was a big selling point for me when it came to the BGM concept. As it is I hope to draw more of her some day, probably with Princess Aurora again as well. I’ve enjoyed these two as a pair long before the live action film did it, and the odds are good that anything more I do with them will be in a similar vein to this.
