Here’s something I’ve been quietly working on in my spare time for a bit. It’s a simple picture, but my focus has been on commissions and the like, so what would normally only take about a day to do instead has taken weeks. I think it’s a cute pic, though, and I hope you guys like it.
Here’s Gon’s second Ask, this one relating to his time with Killua and Zushi in the Heaven’s Arena tower. I think the three of them have a really cute dynamic, and I hope that comes across here.
I went back and forth on a few different ways to answer this Character Ask, but ultimately I decided that this idea was too cute not to draw. Also, I like that it allowed me to use Killua’s outfit from his last Ask.
Here is the One-Shot comic page from October. At the time that it went up on there it was very timely, but of course the One-Shots get released publicly a month after the fact, so it’s a bit late for Halloween now. I think the picture’s still cute, though, and hopefully you guys can enjoy it even if it’s no longer the spookiest time of the year.
Here’s Killua’s second Character Ask. I was pretty happy with this one, despite it not being very risque visually. Since I knew I wasn’t going to have Killua doing much for this answer, I decided to try dressing him in a different outfit (one he wears briefly in the anime) that I thought was super cute.
The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for October 2017 is Palm Siberia, and I couldn’t be happier. Not only does she fit into this spooky month quite well, she’s also a character I’ve been dying to draw for some time. I first saw her when working on Biscuit Krueger’s NHML entry, and immediately fell in love. There’s something about her I can’t explain, but I really dig her and would like to draw her again some time. In fact, I’ve already begun looking into possibly doing a Palm/Biscuit yuri piece.
Anyway, it’s now time to start collecting nominations for November’s NHML! The way it works is simple. Everyone gets one nomination. Nominated women have to be someone I haven’t drawn in the past year, and preferably one I’ve never drawn. I will keep record of all the nominees over on the sidebar of the site and, on the first of November, I will use a random selection process to pick the winning lady. That lady will get a picture drawn of her by me sometime during the month. Here’s another of the simpler Character Asks. I was originally pretty optimistic about being able to do every question this month, but there’ve been several new ones since the initial influx. Moving forward, I’m going to prioritize supporters who have been with me since before the month changed, and of them those who are at the $7 level (since those higher get other perks). That being said, my goal is still to get everyone, or at least as many as possible.
The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for July is Neferpitou from Hunter × Hunter. I know there’s some debate over this character’s gender in the fandom, but since the design includes noticeable chest bumps and this is the Near Hentai Monthly Lady, I’ll be referring to them as a female (also, as far as I can tell, the debate revolves around physical gender, not gender identity).
She’s the second H×H character to be featured in NHML, and since Killua was paired with Canary for that pic, I decided to pair Pitou with Gon. I don’t know what kind of relationship these two might’ve had in the series. Pitou seems to be a luitenant to the main villain of an arc or two, but then possibly switches sides? I have not done proper research here, but the scenes I saw of her seemed to suggest that.
