Kali Neko no Kage as Dark Link

I’ve been wanting to do this pic for a long time, but like many of my passion projects it kept getting put off while I focused on commissions and other obligations. For those who don’t remember the “Tentacles Ahoy!” series, they’re my tribute to the wonderful and gorgeous models at Pixel Vixens. I’ve drawn Noel and Anya for this series already, and here’s the lovely Kali Neko no Kage in her Dark Link cosplay. This was the outfit she was wearing when we first met, and it’s also the one she’s used the most in photosets and the like, so it was an obvious choice for this pic. Also she just looks damn good in it. =>_<=

Sidon and Link

I haven’t spoken about it much here in these blog posts, but anyone who pays attention to the cBox knows I’ve been dealing with some personal issues lately. Everyone’s been really great and supportive while I’ve been dealing with both the emotional and logistical problems that arise from losing someone you’re dependent on. Two people that have been really helpful to me, though, are my close friends Anya and Noel. As you might have guessed, the recent pic I did of Anya and Salazzle was sort of a “thank you” for her continued friendship and support, and similarly this pic is meant for Noel. Some time ago she sent me a video out of the blue describing this picture of Prince Sidon and Link from Breath of the Wild, and I committed it to memory with the intent of some day bringing it to life. With both Anya’s pic and this one, they were things I’d been wanting to draw for a while anyway, but under the circumstances (wanting to thank them, plus not feeling up to working on things like commissions) I moved them forward to now. These were both fun and relaxing to do, plus it’s just nice to create something for someone you care about.

I’m really fond of Link’s design in this game, and would like to draw more of him when I can. It’s always a bit intimidating submitting art for something as popular as Breath of the Wild, though, as so many great artists have already put their stamp on the brand. Often times that’s enough to scare me away from a subject, so we’ll see if I ever get around to drawing him again.

Link SFM Compilation

While I’m out seeing friends and attending a convention, here’s another fun little Source Filmmaker compilation video I did. I made this one basically the next day after making the Frozen one, but I think this one turned out a lot better. I learned from a few mistakes that bothered me about the final product of that first attempt, and I think this one is much stronger for it.

This video is yaoi (with a dash of futa on male), for those not into that sort of thing. Every clip is some form of Link getting fucked. This may be the only yaoi one of these I do, since it seems as if the other SFM yaoi content I like isn’t plentiful enough to make a video based on any one character.

Yaoi Crossover Spread

If the set-up here seems familiar, it’s because I’ve kept a fairly uniform approach to these commissions (all my the same person), which I’ve done twice before. This time the lineup is (from left to right), Cloud Strife (Final Fantasy VII, specifically his Advent Children design), Asbel Lhant (Tales of Graces), Link (The Legend of Zelda, specifically his Twilight Princess design), Son Gohan (Dragon Ball Z) and Trunks (Dragon Ball Z).

Cia, Aversa, & Mariah

This is a commission I recently finished featuring Cia (from Hyrule Warriors), Aversa (from Fire Emblem) and Mariah (from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure). I assume the idea here is to pair up three dark-skinned girls with white hair, which I’m all for. It’s an aesthetic that never gets old and, truth be told, I hope to have a non-commissioned picture of Cia sometime soon.
