I had a bit of trouble coming up with an answer on this Ask. I thought about it for a long time, before eventually just letting Killua voice my thoughts on the matter in his own words. I’m not 100% sure what the asker was hoping for in a response, but I think Killua sums things up well here. Killua and Gon are good friends, and they help each other out mutually. So it doesn’t feel quite right for Killua to just, like, do something for Gon to thank him.
I know it’s been a while, but I’ve really just kinda lost all passion for this project. I’m still going to finish it, especially since there’s only a couple pages left, but it’s very low priority for me and will probably be another wait. As always, I have the original version provided below.
This here’s another Mini Commission, featuring Riley about to have a little fun. The MC description specified it should look like Riley’s taking a selfie (something I don’t have much experience conveying, sorry), but the Snapchat text was my idea. Just thought it’d be funny and add a little extra character to the pic. Hope you all like it!
I don’t have too much to say about this Ask, since I think it kinda speaks for itself. The Zangya bit comes from an old conversation on my Discord (which I touched on in Zangya’s Studio Tour appearance). After that, I thought it’d be funny if Mina just couldn’t stop thinking of girls she’d like to work with, hence the gag where her speech bubble goes off the page.

EcchiMask is an artist I met through Malezor, who has an ongoing Goku/Gohan comic called Study Break. After talking a bit, I agreed to color it, and here’s the first page of that. Some of you may notice the comic pairs well with my own Special Training, and if you wanted to view it as a sequel to that comic I’d have no issue with that. It fits in well with what happens in that comic, I believe, though I played no hand in writing this one (colors only, everything else is EcchiMask).
So I intentionally put this one off until after Christmas for two reasons. One was, like Frosty says in the pic, I just had a bunch of Christmas content already lined up for the holiday and didn’t need more. The second reason was, I wanted something interesting for the answer portion. I feel like just having them go, “Sure!” and then fuck is pretty boring, and going the opposite route and having them come up with some reason why they couldn’t would be disappointing, I think. This way they can talk about being past the holiday itself, but hey, at least it’s still winter so Frosty hasn’t melted away yet.
So this is another pic I started a long time ago and decided to come back to. It’s a pretty simple Izzy pic, but it’s nice to have him officially in the Near Hentai canon (if you will). He’s a cute boy and one I’ve wanted to do more with for a while now. We’ll see if I ever get around to him again. ^_^;
With this Ask I thought it’d be a little fun to highlight the different ways Gohan and Zangya approach a problem. Gohan’s figuring they’d have to run experiments to answer faithfully, but Zangya doesn’t have any concerns about that and just trusts her gut. Of course, if she thought about it more, Zangya would probably be all for an ass-eating competition with Gohan. Grab a handful of people from around the studio and then have them compare the techniques of both her and Gohan. I’m sure she’d have a great time of it, but for the moment she’s too caught up in her ego and bravado to realize just what Gohan’s proposing.
This is a Mini Commission, featuring Maka Albarn of Soul Eater. I never watched Soul Eater and only have a passing familiarity with this character, but I hope I got her design pretty close to right. They wanted the “anon” in this case to be teen Gohan, hence the blue wristbands, so this pic’s actually a crossover.
So this Ask could’ve been answered with just Goku talking to the camera, but then I thought it’d be neat to try and show him with some random crossover boy (even though he doesn’t really have an actual answer to the question. I ended up adding two more boys just ’cause… I’d never accept an Ask that demanded this many characters, but since it was my own decision it’s okay. ^_^; I went with three random boys, trying my best to avoid any sort of theme or anything with the selections. Just three boys who would be in the studio. I guess Goku’s pretty popular around the NH Studio, and he’s such an easy-going guy that he just goes along with whatever.
