This seemed like a fun chance to do something with two of my personal favorite DCAU gals (although there’s honestly a lot of ’em I like). I can’t actually remember how often Max and Babs interact in Batman Beyond, but the first time I drew either of them was in a threesome with Terry. As fond as I am of Barbara’s older Commissioner design in Beyond, I don’t see that as being how she chills by default in the Studio, so this got to be a bit of an impossible pairing that only makes sense in the Studio (or if time travel or something was involved, I guess).
