In Attack on Titan, Erwin’s very driven, but the thing that drives him is a lack of understanding about the world he lives in. Spoiler alert, but the tragedy of his character is that he dies like right before they get a lot of the answers he was looking for. In the Studio, of course, that burden would be lifted. Studio Erwin has access not only to information about his world, but worlds he never could’ve even imagined. I imagine he’s somewhat like Nanami, in that he’s able to unwind a bit more in the Studio, even if he remains a somewhat serious person. I won’t get into why I chose this method for him to unwind, other than I think Armin owes him one.

It’s great to see both Erwin, and Armin loosing up, and unwinding together. They both had heavy burdens put on their shoulders.
Admittedly I never tire of admiring Armin’s ass.
