There’s been demand for a footjob from Anya ever since I first drew her, and Denji’s had a whole thing about discovering feet through his celibacy arc. Since they have a history, I figured bringing these things together here would work well.
Since it had been a minute since the last new Fusion, I decided to run a poll for one again. This time the poll was made of random characters from the Studio, using the same randomizer I use to select NHML winners. The result was a somewhat eclectic poll, but probably the two most similar characters in the poll won out.
A simple one here, I think. I think Kabane’s been through worse than Gon’s dick already, but it’s a pairing I thought could be cute and we haven’t seen him in a minute.
This First Shoot poll was won by Gwen Stacy, specifically the one from the Spiderverse movies. Those films sit in a weird place for me, as there’s several characters I was interested in drawing from them, but a number of factors kept me from doing anything with them. I don’t think I’m comfortable talking about those factors here, but Gwen’s a popular character who’s getting to make her NHS debut now. I figured the most logical reaction from her to arriving in the Studio would be to fall back on her experience with hopping between dimensions, so that’s the angle I took.
This one’s kinda a throwback, I guess, but I thought seeing Gabi like this would be fun.
This Ask is worded a little confusingly, but I think I got it. When I think about the type of guy who James would most go for, I see him as someone with a bit of a daddy complex. So I ran with that here.
A lot of people like these types of comparisons when you have alien super species. I think power works differently in Dragon Ball than many other franchises, though, and tried to work that into the answer. I should also note that, despite what he’s saying here, Vegeta did decide to go blue on Mark.
Here’s the second page of Zombie Movie Night! The girls continue their conversation. I know some people have gotten pretty testy with me over having longer build-ups in some comics, but in this one we have the Lollipop Chainsaw movie they’re watching to keep the pages spicy while I establish Ellie and Clem’s dynamic in this universe. Also, we’ve got a little bit of a nod to some Xoverse lore here.
So, while Cloud’s sword may be a reference to Guts’s, his dick isn’t, so the gimmick I’ve done with Guts doesn’t always play out evenly. There had been some attempt to do this crossover before that didn’t pan out for one reason or another, but I figured I could make it work here for anyone interested in this crossover.
So this is an idea I had a while ago, but never did anything with. I couldn’t tell you where it started, but the image of Maki and Yoinks playing some one-on-one just felt kinda right to me. I didn’t have anywhere to use the concept, really, but after doing Closing Time I decided to try and make this work following the approach I did for that comic. This page is a little more complex than any I did for Closing Time, and it won’t be the way the rest of the comic looks, but I wanted to get some stuff out of the way so the rest of the pages can be focused on the action.
