Here’s the eighth page of our bi Ongoing comic, Bulma’s Afterparty, as written by my Subscribers. This page sees a transition into the more yaoi-focused section of the story.
So here is page three of Capsule Corp. Bliss, where we finally get to some action. I think this is where I’m going to leave this comic for now, as I move on with my rotation. I think this comic has a good start now, but it was intended as a celebration for hitting a SubscribeStar milestone and I’m currently still dancing back and forth across the threshold of that milestone instead of firmly past it. I’m hopeful that when we come back to this comic on down the line we’ll be more securely into the era this comic was intended to mark the start of.
Sorry for the delay, but here’s the second page to Capsule Corp. Bliss. I’m pretty happy with how this comic is going, but we’ll get into the stuff y’all come here for in the next page.
We’re seven pages in now, and these four seem to be having fun! Of the submitted scripts I really only felt like one was a natural continuation of the events so far, though there was some submitted stuff I expect will come up soon in future pages.
Goku and Vegeta trading partners is a concept I’ve seen done a few times. Amongst my Subscribers it’s been discussed a lot, too, but for one reason or another the closest I’ve come to drawing it is either just Goku with Bulma or the ladies with Vegeto. For a scenario I didn’t initially have much in the way of ideas for how to make it a scene, but hopefully the dynamic at play here works for people.
When I first moved from Patreon and SubscribeStar, one goal I set up was to start a sequel to one of my completed comics when I got back to the same income I had on Patreon. It took longer than I would’ve liked, mostly staying just shy of it for what felt like forever, but we’re finally there (more or less). So, I ran a poll with descriptions of potential sequels for all of my completed comics, and the winning one was this, a sequel to Fire Mountain Bliss. Fire Mountain Bliss was an early commission that ended up sitting incomplete in my work folder for years, but I eventually finished it and released it just so all that work wouldn’t go to waste. That comic followed a quick affair between End of Z Trunks and Buu Saga Chi-Chi (as the commissioner wanted), so we’re mirroring that here in the Sequel with End of Z Goten and Buu Saga Bulma. I’m not going to try as hard to imitate the Pandora’s Box style here (that was also a specification of the original commission), but I am trying to keep it feeling like mostly the same aesthetic of the original comic. These two comics are set in a different continuity to my other Dragon Ball work, not just due to the mix-and-match designs, but also because I don’t think these versions of Goten and Trunks have a history of sleeping with their moms like in Chi-Chi the Sitter, etc.
Here’s the sixth page of our Bi Ongoing! Like always, this script takes elements from a few different submitted ideas by my Subscribers. I ended up combining and rearranging some stuff here, but I hope the final result is satisfactory.
This Dare is born from both Bulma and Kanamori developing a reputation for being skilled with a strapon. This Dare’s been submitted for a few months now, but I was hesitant to go for it mostly because I knew it’d come across as me playing favorites. I do like this idea, though, and I figured some others might like it, too.
Despite hooking up, Zarbon hasn’t really checked in on how Vegeta’s life has actually gone since they last met. I had this idea for Zarbon’s reaction to this question that I thought would be kinda fun, and I’ve been meaning to do something with him and Bulma for a while since I know she’d be eager. This exchange is the result.
Here’s page five of our monthly SubscribeStar Bi Ongoing! There were only two scripts submitted for this month, which were fairly similar to one another, but I did my best to pull from both as we move into the real meat of this comic.
