Character Asks Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma

It’s been a couple years since the first and only other time I’ve drawn Takumi, and I thought we could revisit him with this Ask. A fair number of Asks I see for less-used characters talk about them like they’re completely gone from the Studio or something when I haven’t drawn them for a while, and I thought this Ask might help clear up that confusion a little bit. Since the Studio is more than a Studio, but a full little community, everyone who’s in it is still around, hangin’ and bangin’, even if it’s been years since the last time they’ve shown up in my work.

Korra’s Training

I mentioned in the Korra/Toph Ask I did a bit ago that I wanted to draw Korra and Toph with the designs they had when they actually interacted in the show. This is that picture, with Korra giving older Toph a nice foot-cleaning with her tongue. I thought it’d be cute to include some suggestions that this isn’t the first time she’s treated an Avatar this way.

Character Asks Tomo-chan Is a Girl!

There’s a scene in the first episode of Tomo-chan is a Girl! where Jun is talking with another guy about Tomo. The guy thinks Jun is talking about sex, while he thinks he’s talking about martial arts, and Jun comments that Tomo has good feet and uses them well. The other guy thought that was awesome, and so did I, and I’ve been hoping to show Tomo using her feet well since then.

Chris Thorndyke Character Ask 4

I don’t usually choose questions where the answer is “no”, but sometimes there’s still room for a fun visual to along with a negative response. In this case, while Chris may be fine working with other humans for shoots when needed, I don’t really picture him having sex with anyone but Mobians recreationally. I figured we could clear that up, for anyone who was in doubt, and I always enjoy a little Chris/Sonic action when appropriate.

Nimona

Nimona

Nimona’s a fun little animated film I enjoyed quite a bit on Netflix. While there was plenty to like about the film, one element that stood out to me was the titular Nimona, an excitable and dynamic shape shifter who reminds me a lot of my friend Noel. I really enjoyed her antics throughout the film, and wanted to do a nice little pic of her while she’s on my mind.

Darkness Character Ask 3

When I first read this question, I immediately pictured Darkness failing at being a Domme and getting berated for it, which would turn her on. I considered illustrating that scene for the answer, but I wasn’t really sure of the best way to convey it. The more I thought about it, though, the more in-character it felt to just have Darkness getting worked up over the idea of it, instead of actually trying to dominate another character herself.

Near Hentai Monthly Lady One Piece

Carrot NHML

The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for November 2023 is Carrot, a bunny girl from later in One Piece. She’s been brought up a handful of times by some of my Subscribers, so I know a little about her, but the stretch of the series she’s from is far past where my familiarity with One Piece ends. I decided to watch some clips of her when figuring out what to do with her, and saw a handful of cute scenes that make me think she ships well with Wanda, another furry/Mink character she seems pretty close to. Wanda ended up not being super visible here, but I think her flamboyant hat helps keep her recognizable.

With this post, NHML nominations for the month of December are now open. For those who don’t know, I’ll run down the rules real quick. Nominations are limited to one per person. You can nominate any female character you want, provided I have not drawn her within the past calendar year (though I prefer characters I’ve never drawn, period). Previous NHML winners are not eligible for a second time. Nominees must also not be from the same franchise as this month’s winner, One Piece. If you violate any of those rules, I’ll let you know, and you can nominate someone else. I know it can be hard to keep track of these things. You may nominate by either commenting in the cBox, commenting on this post, or emailing me (Nearphotison2010@yahoo.com). I’ll compile a list of the nominees in the sidebar of this site, and then on December 1st I will use a randomizer to select the winning character who I will proceed to draw sometime that month.
