So this is a pic I’ve had kicking around the work folder for a long time. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for even longer. I’ve always really liked Rouge/Topaz, in much the same way I like Sonic/Chris, and I’ve wanted to do something with them for a while. Rouge and Topaz are partners in the show, with Rouge constantly teasing the easily-flustered Topaz (and in the original version of the show, even asking her risque things like if she’s into BDSM when she pulls out handcuffs).

Around the time I first drew Chris, though, while looking for reference material I was reminded of Christina Cooper. She showed up in a lot of scenes with Rouge and Topaz while I was skimming through the series, and I really liked her look, so I investigated. She works for the President in the series (as, like, a secretary or something), and so coordinates with Topaz (who works for the S.H.I.E.L.D.-esque group G.U.N.) and Rouge. While I’d been meaning to do something with Rouge toying with Topaz, I suddenly found myself wanting to see the bat turn both women into her playthings… so here we are. This idea is very similar to what I did for one of Arella’s Character Asks not long ago, I realize, but this was my first attempt at executing the idea. ^_^; It took a long time to finally get this inked and colored.

I do still want to do something with just Rouge and Topaz at some point, but I might also try other stuff with all three of these characters and this dynamic. We’ll just have to wait and see if and when I get around to it.
