So it was a few months ago that I got into a discussion on my Discord about my desire to do a long-form Applebridge comic. That is, a comic set in the Applebridge universe that uses a slower build instead of the usual 4-5 panel stories I tell with those characters. This has been a background project for a while, and will continue to be one until I’ve finished a few more of my ongoing comics. This means it won’t get frequent updates or anything, at least not for the time being, but it will be something I work on when I’m in the mood for it (if that makes sense).
This comic follows the story of Kobi, who just graduated from Applebridge High and is on a group beach trip with his crush, Brooke. He knows this will likely be his last chance to tell her how he really feels, as she’s going to be leaving Applebridge for college soon. The comic’s focus is going to be straight for now, but if it goes well I have a second chapter planned that’s more yaoi/bi.
This week I wasn’t able to find the time to record a Near Talk episode, but hopefully I’ll have a new episode next Saturday. However, I am excited to announce something I’ve been wanting to introduce to Near Hentai for a while now: Erotica! Or lit porn, or whatever you wanna call it. Right now the literature section only has one story, the first chapter to an ongoing storyline called Stained Capes. However, I hope to expand it with more stories, not only by me, but by some other writer friends. Since this site’s dedicated just to my work, the stories featured in this section are going to be limited to only those written by me or those written based on my art. It’s egocentric, I know, but it’s my site. ^_^ You can find the lit section in the link above the cBox on the right-hand side of the page, and I’ll be sure to announce in the art posts whenever a new story has been added.
