I really love doing weird crossovers like this, and for some reason this pairing just spoke to me. Both are kinda answering for themselves here, though, but I hope y’all won’t mind checking in. I was quite fond of both of these ladies when I was in high school, so it was fun to draw them again after so long.

This here’s the One-Shot for June 2024. As always, the script for this comic was submitted by a Subscriber. The theme here is Mark from Invincible hopping to other superhero universes for some fun. There’s an ulterior motive to this script, too, to get in some popular superhero characters I haven’t drawn before, especially in the first and third panels. This script has a few characters that have been popular for other artists to draw, but we’ll see if there’s interest in seeing them show up again after this.

Christmas Creampies

So I feel like this pic needs some explaining, ’cause it’s a crossover of sorts that is probably not readily apparent. So, of course, the two girls here are Olive and Maps, who attend Gotham Academy in, well… Gotham City. That part’s pretty straightforward. The guys here are two goons of the Joker’s, taken from the Batman: The Animated Series episode “Christmas With the Joker”. In that episode, Joker takes over the radio waves while his two basic goons, nicknamed “Donner” and “Blitzen”, do his bidding. So what we have here is Joker rewarding these goons with two girls he nabbed from Gotham Academy (nevermind timelines or continuity stuff, this is for fun), and the crackling speech bubble is him narrating over the action like he does in much of that episode. Hope that conveys the concept well enough for everyone, and I hope y’all enjoy the pic.

Captured Batgirl

So this is an urge that just kinda came over me. I’ve always had a thing for captured heroes being played with by villains, and that goes double when it’s heroines and villainesses. These three in particular I have a soft spot for, which is why I decided to go with a comic presentation instead of a regular pic. The layout of this one’s a bit different than other one-page comics I’ve done, with the first panel being in the center and the rest splintering out from it. There’s no particular order to read the surrounding panels in, the intent is for it to be a mixed rush of experiences, sort of like how it feels for Batgirl.
I really, really enjoyed making this comic, and I think I might try to do more like it. I’ve already started another one with Supergirl and Livewire as a sister comic to this one (splitting up the teamup from the episode “Girls Night Out”). I don’t know when that one will be done, but I’m considering running with this set-up as a series. Getting into the Justice League cartoon, there’s no shortage of heroines and rival villainesses I could use for little one-off comics like this. I guess it’ll depend on how well this and the Supergirl comic are received, and how I feel about them after finishing that second comic.

Organic Strapon

So this is a pic I started waaay back in 2017, following a conversation with a friend. We talked about how much they liked Harley and Ivy as a couple, which is a sentiment I agree with (I much prefer this pairing to any other possible pairing for either of them). I started this pic ’cause I was riding high on the idea of a Harley/Ivy pic at the time, plus I thought it’d make my friend happy, but there were some parts I didn’t like and wanted to redraw. Other stuff took priority, and this pic just sat in my work folder for the longest time (it was even in the “hype banner” on my site for a year or so, when it was just lineart. When the new Harley Quinn show started airing, I loved it, and wanted to draw those versions of the characters together. However, I felt bad about this pic, which I’d always wanted to get back to. So, finally, I buckled down and finished it. Now that this picture’s finally done, expect some 2020 Harley and Ivy content from me eventually (we’ll see when I can find the time).

NHS Calendar #1 – February (Izuku Midoriya/Harley Quinn)

Here’s the second page of the “Near Hentai Studios Calendar” project! Like I said in the January page, the idea here is to pair up random performers from my list of top stars (that is, the characters whose tags have the most use on my site). I was initially surprised when Harley Quinn ended up on this list, since I don’t feel like I’ve drawn her nearly as often as, say, Deku here. However, she was the star of a comic I colored a while back, plus she’s in several of the images I colored earlier in my career when most of my posts were color jobs. She also got one of the SFM compilation music videos, so all that combined with the times I actually drew her myself pushed her up onto this list. Since I’ve primarily used the Batman the Animated Series design for her, that’s what I went with here. I believe I mentioned in the last pic that one of the pairings for this project was actually a crossover I’d drawn before, and this was the one I was talking about. Harley pegged Deku once in a Character Ask, but for this pic I decided to reverse those roles and let Deku get his dick wet.

So, I think this pairing is kinda an obvious one. I’ve definitely seen people draw comparisons between these two before, and I think their respective fans are drawn to them for similar reasons. Harley’s already got an established relationship of some sort with Midoriya as we saw in her last Ask, and it was likely through that connection that she ended up on set for Toga’s NHML shoot with him and Uraraka.

This is one where I had a pretty good idea how to answer when I first saw it. I’d been thinking of doing something with Deku getting pegged for a while, and it also fits in with my idea of how I might do theoretical Harley/Robin content. I like to think this is Harley’s preferred way of interacting with young heroes, when she’s not being a more conventional supervillain type of course. The last Ask I did for Harley I did a more comic book style, but for this one I went with her animated design (my preferred Harley), since I thought it’d clash with the anime look of Deku a bit less.
