Kim Possible is one of those shows I rarely seem to get around to, just because I have too many ideas for it and I don’t want to get sucked into a black hole of just drawing Kim Possible forever. Since there are so many other artists doing great KP work out there, that never bothers me, but one character I don’t think I’ve ever seen used is Heather (no last name I could find).
In the episode “And the Mole-Rat Will Be CGI”, Kim and Ron catch the attention of a Hollywood director, who gets two big name actors to shadow them so he can make a movie based on Kim’s life. Kim’s actress is Heather, who appears to be an A-list celebrity in their world (despite not being mentioned before or after this episode, to my knowledge). Unlike a lot of similar plots in other shows, Kim and Heather seem to get along famously (no pun intended) most of the episode. Kim has a few hang-ups that seem to mostly be jealousy over Heather’s popularity, but they never quarrel or anything, which is refreshing. Since Heather’s job in the episode is to learn everything she can about being Kim Possible, I thought I’d look into what other things Kim might have shown her to help her get into character.
I’ve been wanting to do something with Disney’s Peter Pan for a while now. I’ve had a couple ideas bouncing in my head here or there, but nothing I was too excited about so they never really materialized. The other day the simple idea of Pan getting blowbanged by a bunch of Hook’s pirates hit me, and I decided to go ahead with it.
I hope I can return to this film again in the future, as there are actually a lot of characters I wouldn’t mind taking a stab at (both male and female). Besides Pan, most of the Lost Boys are pretty cute, as are all three of the Darling kids. Mrs. Darling is a knockout as well, plus there are sexy mermaids and Tiger Lily to boot. Oh, and of course we can’t forget Tinker Bell, who even as a small child I knew was sexy as fuck.
This is a quick and simple pic. Some time ago I ran a poll asking what Disney princesses you all liked, and while the top spot jumbled around a bit, Jasmine seemed to spend a lot of time at number one and was sitting comfortably ahead at the time the poll closed. So, when I was looking for a quick straight pic I could do to balance things out a bit around here, I went to her.
I had some fun with this one, as I used the colors from the actual balcony scene. I don’t usually use such strong purples in my shading, but for this pic it was nice and I’m happy with the final result. I don’t suspect this is the last time I’ll draw a Disney princess (or even Princess Jasmine, for that matter), and I might try a different palette next time.
Those of you who follow the cBox probably saw that I had to take my computer into the shop again yesterday. I don’t think there’s anything seriously wrong with it, but it doesn’t recognize the wireless adapter inside it and I think it needs to be opened up to fix. I’m mostly waiting for them to get to me, as there were other computers ahead of mine, but I’m optimistic that it’ll be a quick fix once it’s done. Thankfully, everything I did to continue working last time is still in place, so I was able to keep working on this pic and should be good to continue on others. It’s a bit difficult for me to draw new content right now, but anything I did the early sketch work for I should be able to keep working on. Really, the only thing that might be affected by this (unless the computer’s gone for a week or more) is the comics.
Also, I’m currently collecting the names of female characters you guys would like to see more of. I always enjoyed doing the Woman of the Month when WWOEC was around, and I’d like to try randomizing the suggestions of my followers to pick an obscure lady to draw sometime this month. I currently have four nominees, but I’m willing to take on a few more before I see who the lucky lady is.
I’m sure many of you remember the season one episode of Kim Possible, where Drakken uses compliance chips on both Shego and Kim (even dressing Kim up as Shego!). As far as mind control goes, these chips were pretty hardcore, turning even the heroic Kim Possible into a slightly cross-eyed obedient puppet. I’m sure anyone who’s into mind control probably imagined something similar to this happening during the time Drakken is alone with the two girls, which we’re never shown.
I drew this one a few months ago, but just recently got around to coloring it. I think it still holds up in spite of its age, and I’m happy to have more Kim Possible content on the site.
So I’m back from my vacation now, and I bring with me a pic that I had mostly finished before I left. I’ve been watching Kim Possible with my kid sister lately, since she’s never seen the show before, and it’s served to remind me of the obscene number of incredibly hot characters the show has. I’ve been having lots of ideas for KP characters, which is good since the show is also doing very well on my poll right now asking what people want to see more of. It’s doing so well, in fact, that I’m debating starting up a comic I’ve been sitting on, now that I know there’s an audience for it already visiting my blog. If and when I do start posting it, though, it’ll be the first girls-only comic I’ve done, which is kind of exciting.
In the meantime, though, we have this pic, which I had started before the poll ever went up. I wanted to start off with a character I see used less often than the popular ones like Kim and Shego, and there’s something I really like about Mrs. Stoppable. I’m really into nerdy MILF-types like her and Luann Van Houten, so I did the natural thing around these parts and let her son have a go at the pussy he came from.
