I almost passed over this Ask, just because I didn’t like the assertion that Boruto is a “big fan” of Luffy. There’s nothing in my work that would lend credence to this, and I was under the impression it was just something that was made up to try and make a particular pairing happen. However, I knew plenty of people would be happy to see Boruto again, and since his dad had already been double-teamed by Luffy and Goku in a previous Ask I figured I had a fun enough way for Luffy to respond. So here we are. Later on I was told by one of my backers that there actually is some sort of gag about Boruto being a fan of Luffy in his own series, I guess? I wasn’t aware of it and didn’t see anything about it when I looked into it at the time, but I’d trust just about anyone’s knowledge about Boruto over my own.
So, I liked the idea of pairing Luffy with Whis. My main hurdle in answering this question was finding a way to make the answer actually interesting. If Whis just said, “Yup! He’s good!” I don’t think it would work super well, but then I had the idea of kinda subverting the question while still providing the expected answer. I got caught up in trying to fit Whis’s full body into the image, hence the askew angle, but I think he might’ve ended up looking a little smaller than usual as a result. He’s still a cutie, though.
So this is the One-Shot I did for April, based off one of the scripts they submitted for that month. The supporter who submitted this script is a fan of Gon and Killua, but also is really into Shaman King’s Horohoro. Since I’ve only drawn Horohoro a handful of times, the concept he wanted to try out was the experienced Gon and Killua instructing Horohoro on how to be a good bottom in the Near Hentai Studio. The top they chose to help him practice was Luffy.
For this Ask, I really wasn’t sure how to do the “answer” part… It’s just a little hard to vocalize a response to a question like this in an interesting way, I think, ’cause generally you’d expect the answer to just be some vague positivity. In the end that’s what I did, but I wanted to do answer this one in part just because I know there’s been a fair amount of clamor for both new Luffy art and new Ash art, and this made it easy to do both. I figured it’d be funny for Ash to be barely keeping his composure while answering, while Luffy’s just sort of awkwardly responding to Ash’s (frankly, somewhat embarrassing) description of him.
So Frieza’s in kinda a weird spot where he’s both racists towards Saiya-jins, but also fetishizes them, leading to his answer here. Obviously Luffy isn’t a Saiya-jin, and the only reason Frieza said the line being referenced in the question is to make a joke about his name being the same as the slur Frieza uses for Saiya-jins, but his reasoning probably wouldn’t be much different. I kinda doubt Frieza would view humans as any higher on the species totem pole than Saiya-jins, if anything they’d be much lower.
This is another Mini Commission, wanting to see Charlotte Pudding of One Piece riding an anon girl with a strapon. I never got to this character when I watched One Piece, so I don’t know anything about her. I did see she sometimes has a Tien-like third eye, but I decided not to include it here since I don’t know the story to that and the MC didn’t mention it. I’m also not sure if the person who submitted this idea had anyone in mind for who is lying underneath her here, but if you know Charlotte and who she might be shipped with you can probably imagine it’s her.
So here’s the One-Shot for November. The idea behind this one was that Goku and Luffy were doing a show at the Near Hentai Strip Club, performing with a variety of other boys and getting progressively more naked as they go. This comic also features the debut of Itona from Assassination Classroom, performing onstage like his classmate Nagisa.
