Hey, check it out, Tomo found a way to do two Dares at once. What a champ.
I thought this Dare would be a fun excuse to let Gohan get ravaged by another guy in Dragon Ball he hasn’t yet, and people seem to like seeing Beerus too. I figured this Dare could be framed similarly to Surge’s Ask with Beerus ’cause, well… I think it’s a good angle, personally.
So, now that Coed Capers is done, we’ve begun a new Bi/Pan Ongoing comic. The Subscribers voted to see a foursome with these Dragon Ball characters this time. Normally you’d expect to see Chi-Chi in this situation, but she wasn’t available due to her role in the previous Straight Ongoing. I think having 18 in this situation instead does make for an interesting twist on a dynamic I’ve seen done quite a bit, so hopefully we’ll get some fun pages for this one in the future.
The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for July 2023 is Caway, a minor character introduced in Dragon Ball Super’s Tournament of Power arc. She basically just exists for a joke with Master Roshi where she tries to seduce him, and he transforms into his buff full power form to intimidate her. At the time of the episode I considered drawing her with buff Roshi, but never got around to it. When she won, this seemed like the obvious path to take with her, and I actually ended up sketching a handful of positions between these two. I didn’t think it’d make sense to take the time to use them all for her pic, though, but if people seem to like this one maybe I could ink and color those other positions later for some sequel content.
With this post, NHML nominations for the month of August are now open. For those who don’t know, I’ll run down the rules real quick. Nominations are limited to one per person. You can nominate any female character you want, provided I have not drawn her within the past calendar year (though I prefer characters I’ve never drawn, period). Previous NHML winners are not eligible for a second time. Nominees must also not be from the same franchise as this month’s winner, Dragon Ball. If you violate any of those rules, I’ll let you know, and you can nominate someone else. I know it can be hard to keep track of these things. You may nominate by either commenting in the cBox, commenting on this post, or emailing me (Nearphotison2010@yahoo.com). I’ll compile a list of the nominees in the sidebar of this site, and then on August 1st I will use a randomizer to select the winning character who I will proceed to draw sometime that month. The winning Subscriber-submitted script for June 2023 features Raven, Starfire and Terra having some fun with our boys Goten and Trunks. This one’s pretty straightforward, and kinda feels like the old One-Shots from early in my Patreon career. I hope y’all will enjoy it, I feel like it’s been a minute since we’ve seen Goten and Trunks tag teaming some folks (or since we’ve seen these three Titans together).
I haven’t gotten to do much with Cheelai and Broly in a while, and I thought this would be a nice chill way to let Cheelai talk about their relationship a little. It’s sort of a basic Ask, I guess, but I’m hoping people will enjoy seeing these two together.
There’s a few ways I could’ve gone with this, I think, but in the end I thought an angle like this would be fun. Beerus being purple also allows me to make him recognizeable while not necessarily drawing all of him, something that’s useful for a day like today when I have a lot of other work to get to. For Bererus’ part, the last time I drew him he was fucking a different spritely little green lady, so Peridot might want to be on the lookout.
I know I’ve described this somewhere before, maybe in Gohan’s spotlight interview, but it’s impossible to keep track of every time I explain Studio lore so I don’t blame anyone for finding it confusing. Characters who we see at different ages usually only exist once in the Studio, and can use sci-fi tech to jump to different ages if they need to for an Ask or something (this is why I say everyone in the Studio is an adult). Gohan F is an alternate universe Gohan, though, so she’s separate. If Future Gohan was in the Studio, he’d be separate, too, but since he’s not Gohan has to use workarounds to have sex with himself older like we see here.
This pic’s inspired by the scene of Frieza being resurrected in Dragon Ball Super. He and Goku kinda posture at each other, taking cheap shots as saying, “Whoops, my hand slipped” while Baba watches uncomfortably. The scene feels thick with sexual tension to me, and I wanted to do this version of it for a while.
I had an itch to sketch something with Bulma getting her feet worshipped a while back, so I sketched this. I figured the unnamed Capsule Corp Receptionist we see a couple of times in Super would be a good candidate, since it let me play off the empoyee/boss power dynamic. I let this one sit for a good minute before coming back to it, but I hope people will enjoy the final product.
