So, “The 1 Club” is an idea I had in early September that I thought might be fun. As you probably know, I pay a lot of attention to how many uses of different tags there are on my site. The Calendar project is a celebration of the “top performers” who have the most appearances, but there’s hundreds and hundreds of characters who have exactly one (1) appearance. The idea for this series was to spotlight some random 1-use characters, who I’m calling the 1 Club, in some fun and sexy ways. I’d originally considered doing this as a pin-up series, maybe like NHS MILFs or the Bunny Boys series, but I didn’t really like the idea of actually having the words “The 1 Club” appear anywhere on the pic itself, and I thought going this direction would be more exciting. So, instead of just a picture of the 1 Club member, I’ll be pairing them with someone who has 10 or more appearances, with a focus on fun or unexpected crossovers. I’m also going to try and use characters whose one appearance was a while ago, at least a year, to give them some time to be established as a 1 Club member (’cause everyone has only one appearance for at least a little while). And, of course, appearing in this series will automatically remove someone from the 1 Club.
Elast-Girl here is a minor character from the Teen Titans series. She’s a member of the Doom Patrol, and is sort of a surrogate mother for Beast Boy (who is also a top performer she could’ve been paired with, but I did say I wanted to focus on crossovers). She first appeared on Near Hentai on August 7th, 2011 in a pic where I was trying to fit in every female Teen Titans character I could remember. Pairing her with the much more popular Elastigirl seemed like a no-brainer. On top of both being MILFy superheroines with similar codenames, even their civilian names are similar (Helen Parr and Rita Farr). I do like the idea of maybe doing an Elasti-Girl/Beast Boy pic in the future, so let me know if any of you would be interested in seeing that down the line.
