I feel like this one’s pretty straightforward and speaks for itself. I thought Denji might enjoy demonstrating while he explained himself, and I went back to his friendship with Raditz for it since I feel like I haven’t done much with them yet. This sort of thing fits them better than most sex acts, probably.
So there’s two ways to go with a question like this. One way is to find Studio members similar to characters Shinso befriended in canon (like the ones he listed here), who’d be more outgoing, friendly type. For this Ask, at least, I decided to go the other way and try to find someone who more closely matched his energy. I’m sure there’s a few options, but Choso is who immediately came to mind for me. I think they look good together, anyway.
Needed a kinda simple Ask for today, and I thought it might be useful to let Corey try and explain his tastes in his own words. Neither he nor I have a perfect way of explaining how he views sex or sexual partners. I’m sure somewhere on Tumblr there’s a perfect word for his sexuality, but hopefully he’s able to articulate himself a bit here.
I’m not sure why Kei wouldn’t hang out with Yuri, but here they are hanging out.
So while I don’t know much about Natsu or Shiki, nor how they’d interact, I figure this is a crossover some folks would like to see.
So Hanae is married in Maison Ikkoku, but I don’t think her husband represents her “type” necessarily. The type of guys she usually comments on being hot are mostly generic handsome dudes, nothing too out there or anything. In hindsight, part of me is thinking I might should’ve partnered her with Aki here instead, since he fits the type even more so (I think) while also having a loose connection to Hanae through Himeno and Akemi’s established relationship. Megumi doesn’t get to have much fun on camera, though, so it’s nice to see him get a little action outside what he’s used to.
I was thinking over this question for a while, and this is what I landed on. While Mr. Sakamoto loves little store and the peaceful life he leads, I’m not sure if I can really picture him starting up a new one in the Studio. Right now I feel like he’s probably in vacation mode, lounging around and eating a lot. If his wife came to the Studio, though, I do think that would change. I feel like she wouldn’t want to see him languish for too long and would push to get their store in the Studio just to give them both something to do.
A couple years ago, I got a bit of an itch and sketched a bunch of Canary/Zofia stuff. I don’t remember what exactly spawned the idea, maybe just that they’re both characters I’m fond of with pretty limited existing partner options. Regardless, I was thinking about maybe using those sketches for a Studio Tour pic or maybe a little one-off comic, but never really did. This question made me think of them, though, so I decided to go ahead and canonize the relationship. This isn’t one of those sketches, I did a new pic of them for this, but I might find an excuse to use them later if I want to explore this random crossover pairing a bit more.
So there’s a running gag in Bocchi the Rock! that Ryo, despite coming from a well-off family, is always broke and borrowing money from her friends. This is usually chalked up to her always buying new guitars and such. Now, in the Studio, I’ve more than once implied that they don’t really use money, or at least it’s not necessary to get by since it’s a sci-fi utopian type location. However, due to rule of funny, I think Ryo would still find a way. I wanted to pair her with someone else who would still place value on money even in the Studio, and Kanamori seemed like a perfect fit for a few different reasons.
So even if Mulan is “in character” as Ping I kinda see her as the bottom. In fact, that’s how Shang debuted in the Studio was with a pic based on that concept. Still, I feel like these two might be a bit adventurous, so maybe they could change things up occasionally.
