Zangya and Gohan Character Ask 1

With this Ask I thought it’d be a little fun to highlight the different ways Gohan and Zangya approach a problem. Gohan’s figuring they’d have to run experiments to answer faithfully, but Zangya doesn’t have any concerns about that and just trusts her gut. Of course, if she thought about it more, Zangya would probably be all for an ass-eating competition with Gohan. Grab a handful of people from around the studio and then have them compare the techniques of both her and Gohan. I’m sure she’d have a great time of it, but for the moment she’s too caught up in her ego and bravado to realize just what Gohan’s proposing.

Son Goku Character Ask 7

So this Ask could’ve been answered with just Goku talking to the camera, but then I thought it’d be neat to try and show him with some random crossover boy (even though he doesn’t really have an actual answer to the question. I ended up adding two more boys just ’cause… I’d never accept an Ask that demanded this many characters, but since it was my own decision it’s okay. ^_^; I went with three random boys, trying my best to avoid any sort of theme or anything with the selections. Just three boys who would be in the studio. I guess Goku’s pretty popular around the NH Studio, and he’s such an easy-going guy that he just goes along with whatever.

Gohan and Uraraka Character Ask 1

I’ve never combined multiple Asks like this before, but here I felt like it fit. Both Gohan and Uraraka got questions basically looking to see what crossover pairings they might get into, but I think they make a good pairing themselves! I think Uraraka would be attracted to Gohan for a lot of the same traits that draws her to Midoriya, and I think Gohan would reciprocate. So here we are. ^_^

I don’t feel great about doing these One Piece Asks, haha. I still don’t feel like I have a good handle on the One Piece style, and while I did used to read the manga and watch the anime back when it was first starting out, it’s been a long time and I don’t feel confident with these characters’ personalities or mannerisms. Hopefully I didn’t mess up too bad with this response. ^_^;

Chi-Chi Character Ask 5

So Chi-Chi’s initial response here was the first thought I had while reading this question. Palling around with a former villain isn’t exactly out of character for Gohan, and that’s probably affected Chi-Chi’s perspective to some degree. But then I decided it’d be fun to spice things up by having Gohan not be the only member of the family Zangya likes to play with! I don’t know if there’s much Zangya/Chi-Chi content out there, but I thought it’d be a fun twist on things. I opted to go with Chi-Chi’s design from the Bojack film, since that seemed most appropriate.

Ash Ketchum Character Ask 5

So, I treated this Ask sort of like if the question was, “Which crossover makes the most sense?” Obviously there’s more of a precedent between Pokémon and Digimon, with the two franchises seen as being competitors and the forerunners of the monster raising genre. Also, I think if I was going to pair Ash up with someone in My Hero Academia, it wouldn’t be Deku, but Denki. Their personalities seem closer (though I think Ash and Deku would get along great, I think he’d have more in common with Denki). There’s also the little matter of Ash already being very familiar with powers like Denki’s, and I think you could draw some cute parallels there.
