Crossover Dragon Ball My Hero Academia Xoverse

Gohan and Ashido

Alright, so this is a Mini Commission. The supporter here wanted Gohan in a “scissors” position with Mina Ashido from My Hero Academia. Since it’s a Mini Commish, though, only her legs are visible here… The pink skin is meant to convey her identity, but I was a little worried it wouldn’t be clear (if I saw Gohan with a pink woman, I’d probably assume it was Android 21?), so I threw the vest from her superhero costume over the back of the couch. Anyway, hope you all enjoy. ^_^

Also, I decided to go ahead and tag this pic as being part of the Xoverse. I haven’t done much with Gohan in the Xoverse yet, but one idea I liked was that Xoverse Gohan is a U.A. student alongside the MHA cast, under the superhero identity Great Saiyaman. Since I based  the background colors in this pic on the couches in the U.A. dorm I figured there’s no reason not to let this be canon in that setting.

First of all, let me apologize for Vegeta’s rudeness here. I don’t think he fully gets (or cares) that the supporters asking these questions keep the Near Hentai Studios open.
So I had the idea for how to handle this Ask pretty much immediately. Basically, I didn’t want Vegeta to choose, and I think it makes for a better visual anyway if he just refuses to and says “both”. It’s been a long time since I’ve drawn all three of these guys together, so I hope you all enjoy the little family reunion.

There’s just too much pressure to get pages out with these comics, and I’d rather focus on other projects for the time being. Maybe some day I’ll come around to color a different one, we’ll see, but right now I associate ben_10mil’s comics more with stress than anything. Character Asks Crossover Dragon Ball Naruto One Piece

Goku and Luffy Character Ask 1

I had a bit of trouble with this Ask, not just because of Naruto’s presence (I’ll get into why he’s there in a bit), but also because I’ve had some recent troubles that have soured my opinion on Luffy. I had a lot of emotional difficulty getting through this, but I’d already settled on the idea and wanted to get it out.
So I knew the visual I wanted for this one almost immediately. Goku and Luffy double teaming a boy from some other series was obvious, and Naruto seemed fitting. On top of my continuing effort to ease my way back into being able to draw characters from his series comfortably, I think he’s appropriate in a sort of Jump Force reunion sort of way. Hopefully fans of these series (or even one or two of these series) will enjoy seeing these three main characters paired up like this. The difficult part was figuring out what I’d have them say, since there’s not much to talk about here…. hence them basically saying nothing. Oops.

Pride Trooper Training

So, the final season of Dragon Ball Super introduced a ton of new characters, many of whom I took an instant liking to. Hopefully I can get around to drawing some of those others eventually, but for the time being I finally got around to Cocotte, here, the lone female Pride Trooper from Universe 11. My first thought when I saw her in her uniform was that it’d be fun to rip that uniform up, so that’s what I did! I didn’t really want to pair her with a specific character this time around, so she’s getting it from some random Pride Trooper (I’m not positive, but I assume there are other members than the ones we see in the tournament). I’m not sure if I’ll draw Cocotte again, I guess it’ll depend on how well she’s received in her debut.

Character Asks Dragon Ball

Vegeta Character Ask 1

So I’ve gotten this question a few times, but never gotten around to it for one reason or another (I also believe multiple different supporters have asked it, though I can’t be certain on that). The original version was phrased something like, “Vegeta, after seeing how well Goku’s training paid off for Gohan, have you tried the same thing with Trunks?” My problem was I really couldn’t justify Vegeta knowing about how Goku and Gohan trained in “Special Training”. It just didn’t seem like info he would have. I was finally ready to just answer this and get it over with by having Vegeta express this confusion, but then it hit me that it’d be funnier (and also more satisfying) if he didn’t know Goku’s training, but also just happened to be in the middle of that same training with Trunks anyway. I can’t be certain if this supporter was hoping for kid Trunks or future Trunks, but I went with the kid here because I’d already planned to draw these two together eventually anyway. I’m still not 100% certain how I want to handle Vegeta and future Trunks’ relationship, and would rather leave that in the hands of Goku’s imagination for the time being.
