Mariah and Trish

This is a commission I recently commissioned of Trish Una from the Vento Aureo arc JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and “Bastet” Mariah from the Stardust Crusaders arc of the same series. I’m not terribly familiar with the JoJo franchise, but thanks to this same commissioner, I’ve now drawn it a few times and am slowly learning more about the series as I do so. 🙂

The pose used her is not original, it’s borrowed from a reference image chosen by the commissioner.

PriPara’s Gloria Ookanda

This is a picture I started a few months ago and finally got around to finishing today. I don’t expect a lot of people to recognize this character, but she’s Gloria Ookanda, the headmistress of the Paprika Private Academy in PriPara, a great magical girl/idol show. While I don’t think it’s gaining much traction where I live (the States), it seems to be doing well in Japan. Personally, I like the show a lot. It’s surprisingly subversive and continues to impress me with genuine twists and reveals. Gloria here is also a big selling point, as a comic antagonist her scenes are often my favorites. The show can be a little repetitive with its musical numbers, but if you can get past that it’s a great show if you like magical girls, idols, or lolis (I happen to like all three).

The loli characters get a lot of love from Japanese artists, but I haven’t seen anything yet for ol’ Gloria. Personally, I love her, she’s funny and curvaceous and has an outrageous hairstyle. Here I made use of her famous sense of smell (she can smell PriPara tickets, hunting them down like a bloodhound). I can’t make any promises, but I would definitely like to draw more of her in the future.

Camp Woody Ch. 1 – Camp Chaos Page 5 (Remake)

I mentioned before that I wanted to redo a handful of the Camp Woody pages, and here’s the first one. I felt the original art was a pretty big departure from the early pages and, while my version is certainly different as well, I think it’s a bit closer to the look of the rest of the comic. Hopefully you all can enjoy the new page as well!

If you’d like to see the original version, drawn by Twisted-Persona, it’s available here: http://nearhentai.blogspot.com/2014/03/camp-woody-ch-1-camp-chaos-page-5.html

December ’14 WWOTM – Jingle Belle

The WWOEC Woman of the Month for December 2014 is one submitted by myself, Jingle Belle. I admit, I haven’t actually read the Jingle Belle comics much, but I like her design and she fits well with the season. So, for that reason, this doubles as my Christmas pic (not that I had one planned).

The funny thing is, I had originally planned to submit Polly Green, Jingle Belle’s Haloween-themed friend, for the October WWOTM. I forgot, though, and submitted Judge J. B. McBride instead. The judge was picked, meaning if I had remember what I had planned, there would’ve been two Jingle Belle characters in the appropriate months.

On a side note, I need to stop naming my files after songs. I had Anita Ward’s “Ring My Bell” stuck in my head the whole time I was working on this.

Camp Woody Ch. 1 – Camp Chaos Page 16

So, at long last the final page to Camp Chaos is up. This page was drafted by Linno, then handed off to me to ink and color. This page more than any other is a blending of the two main artists for the comic.

But this isn’t the end for Camp Woody. No, I’m quite sure there’s more stories to be told, but on top of that I’m planning on doing some revising. Pages 5-8 of this comic were drawn by a different artist and, while I think the pages are fine, the art shifts is pretty dramatic from the more rounded, anime-influenced styles that Linno and I use, respectively. That being said, I intend to redraw those pages myself, so you can expect to see updated versions of them showing up around here at some point.

November ’14 WWOTM – Ayako

The WWOEC Woman of the Month for November 2014 is Ayako from “Slam Dunk”. I vaguely remember reading the first few chapters of the manga about six years ago, but I can’t recall much about it. However, revisiting it now I really enjoy the old school art style, and Ayako was pretty fun to draw. I can’t say I have any designs to revisit the character, but I enjoyed drawing her for WWOTM.

I barely had time to pump this out, and I’m sorry. I’ve got a full load of university courses this semester, and right now they’re all breathing down my neck. That’s why it’s been such a slow month (that, and working on commissions for big projects), and I apologize for that. Hopefully in December we can get back to a steady update pace.

PBX – More Mom Swapping

This is another Pandoras Box picture I was commissioned to color. Once again we see the boys trading their mothers a swimming pool, though this time they have little signs to go along with their naughty activities.

I’d always wanted to take a crack at this one, but I had been putting it off because I don’t have a lot of experience with water, especially bodies in water. I’m not one to shy away from a challenge, though, so I took this commission as an opportunity to try something relatively new to me. Hopefully my inexperience didn’t ruin the picture for anyone.

Camp Woody Ch. 1 – Camp Chaos Page 15

This is an additional page added in from what I had previously thought would be the end of the chapter. This page was drawn and colored by yours truly, though there is a draft by Linno for one more, final page of this chapter. I will be inking and coloring that draft into completion, so we can wrap this chapter up and hopefully move on to even more fun hijinks at Camp Woody!

Near Hentai Halloween 2014

While I continue to try and eke out several different projects at once, I did manage to wrap up this Halloween-themed picture. These are two OC’s of mine, one old and one new.

The girl on bottom is Lillian L’Orange, an old, old, old character that I made up in high school. If you want to see the only other time I’ve posted artwork of her, you can check out this Halloween image I did back in 2006 below. She’s an odd character, as I keep almost putting her in things. I’ve had numerous projects over the years that she was supposed to appear in (mostly non-erotic stuff), but they would always fall apart or be abandoned before she would make her appearance. So, she has no set place where she exists, though maybe I’ll fit her into Eromugen or something some day. Hell, at this point she may just get her own universe to inhabit separate from my other continuities.

The girl on top is new. Her name is Adeline Fortuna, and she is a witch. Could you tell? I kind of just had the idea for her design in my head and wanted to draw her for Halloween, and Lillian’s inclusion is mostly just for fun. I really like both of these characters, though, so maybe I can keep them around. If nothing else, I think it’d be fun to do another picture like this next year, and add a third character to their little group. We’ll see.

I’m including a textless version here, in case folks don’t care for the big tacky words.
