Rio answered an Ask along these lines a while back, and I think Debbie has a similar perspective. While I do think Amber and Mark would have a better shot in the Studio than their real world, I think Mark and Eve are the “couple,” as much as that’s worth here. Like Rex, though, it’s easy to see Amber often being involved with them, and I always thought Amber and Eve made for good friends. Either way, Debbie seems to be enjoying them both here.
Last year we started a new Halloween tradition of a highlight comic set in the Studio Halloween party. Like last year, our randomly-selected costume model, Space Beth, takes the center panel while we check in around the party with the rest. I know some characters who appear here may be hard to place, especially in the glory hole panel, and I imagine some will only be identifiable through the tags in the public post. I’m pretty happy with how this comic turned out, and I hope y’all will enjoy seeing some of the Studio residents enjoying the spooky season.
I think these three have a cute dynamic, especially in the second season. I wanted to something with Amber specifically for a long time, but as you may have noticed I never got around to most of my Invincible ideas from when the first season came out. With a bit more buzz for the series in my community it’s become easier to revisit some things, and hopefully this won’t be the last time I get around to characters from this series who caught my eye.
