This Ask leans into the established dynamic that Chi-Chi is far more invested in keeping ties to Goku’s parents in the Studio than he is. A pretty simple one, but one I thought some folks might like. Of course I went with the default Studio designs for Goten and Gohan, leading to a fairly eclectic selection from periods of DBZ.
As has become tradition, here is a compilation of some moments from this year’s Studio Christmas party. Hiro Hamada won the lottery to get chosen as the official Studio Santa this year, but as you can see he’s not the only one sporting the look. I had a lot of fun putting together this year’s party, and I tried to fit in an eclectic selection of characters. I hope there’s a little something for most everyone here, and I’d like to wish you all Happy Holidays and a Merry Christmas.
It’s been a weirdly long time since we’ve seen either of these two, so I figured a quick check-in was in order. I’ve already established that Videl and Zangya are on good terms in a previous Ask with them, but I thought I could add a little more insight on their relationship and how Videl thinks about things in general here.
I believe this scenario was intended for a more Studio-focused setting, like with Krillin hooking up with some boy from another franchise. However, I couldn’t get the idea of taking it this direction out of my head, so instead I had Krillin hooking up with 17 at the office.
A simple one here, but I figured it’d be fun to see Launch catch up with the boys.
This is the other half of the Gohan Lord Tier commission from earlier. The Subscriber who commissioned this wanted the pic set in the canopy bed from the Hyperbolic Time Chamber like in Special Training.
Despite hooking up, Zarbon hasn’t really checked in on how Vegeta’s life has actually gone since they last met. I had this idea for Zarbon’s reaction to this question that I thought would be kinda fun, and I’ve been meaning to do something with him and Bulma for a while since I know she’d be eager. This exchange is the result.
This Lord Tier Subscriber wanted to split their commission reward up again, so this is the first half of it featuring Super Saiya-jin 2 Gohan and Goku. Since there’s not really any place in the series where this could occur, it must a Studio interaction.
I’m not sure exactly what the expectation for this Dare was, but I thought it’d fit the more mature and developed Vegeta to not really fall for the provocation, but to commit to the bit anyway. Just a simple Dare here, but one I thought some folks might enjoy.
