An Unlikely Meeting, Page 5

Here is the penultimate page of An Unlikely Meeting, which was finished and shared with my supporters one month ago today. Like the rest of this comic this page was written by my supporters, and due to some mishaps that were my own fault it’s actually a chimera of two different scripts that I Frankensteined together. I think the resulting page is pretty good, though, and hopefully you’ll all enjoy the last page of this comic when it comes out in June.

ben_10mil – Surprise! 11

So here’s the final page of ben_10mil’s comic “Surprise!” as colored by yours truly. This one was a little hard because I wasn’t sure how to handle the top panel, but hopefully how I handled it is acceptable. I’ve started working on another ben_10mil comic that I’ll hopefully have pages to share with you guys later. Like always I have the original version of this page embedded below.

Skillet91 – Vegeta vs. Android 18’s Feet, Page 01

Skillet91 is an artist I’ve been following for a while, and not too long ago I found out that he was also following my work. I’ve been supporting him and when he started posting drafts for this new comic I was immediately interested. I’d been wanting to color his work even before we started communicating, and this was the perfect chance to try it out. So I’m going to do my best to bring this new comic of his to life. I know there’s nothing really sexual going on here on this first page, but I’m really happy with how my coloring approach looks on his lineart. I’m excited to get to the later pages and show them to you guys in the months ahead. ^_^

Special Training, Page 10

So like I said when I posted the previous page, the next couple pages of Special Training are going to be what I call “montage” pages. I don’t know if there’s a better or more professional term for this type of page, but I like to think of this as the “home stretch” portion where Goku’s just going to be fucking Gohan in a few different positions. This page is the “warming up” portion, where there’s not too much position changing and a bit more dialogue than I expect the later pages will have. I’m not positive yet, but I think I’ll do two more pages along these lines before moving on to the next comic for a bit.

Here’s part fourteen of my video series looking back at the superhero world I built when I was in school. This episode kicks off one long stretch (three videos) where I go through the rest of the characters in one go. So only two more episodes to go!

CCC – Space Warped 06

Hey, so who here remembers Space Warped? Malezor and I started this comic a lifetime ago, and after completing the prologue he’s just been too busy to devote the time needed to continue it. We even tried getting another artist to do the linework (I’m the colorist and co-author of the script) but that didn’t pan out like we’d hoped. In the end Malezor was able to get the first page of Chapter One done in his spare time, and I made a point of coloring it as soon as it was ready.

As you can see, the strange artifact Goten and Trunks found at the end of the prologue unwittingly transported them into the Big Hero 6 universe. Luckily, Hiro happened to be flying by and spotted them. Hopefully he can help them out.

March ’18 One-Shot

Here is last month’s One-Shot comic, as selected by my supporters. I suspect this pairing was inspired in part by the memes and jokes around the idea that Deku’s hairstyle is like a cross between Gon and Killua’s (Killua’s style with Gon’s color). Regardless, the boys had a good time with him here, and mark another of Near Hentai’s top sluts off their checklist.

Also, here’s the tenth installment of my video series looking back at the superhero world and characters I built when I was younger:

An Unlikely Meeting, Page 4

This is the fourth page of “An Unlikely Meeting”. Like always, this page was released one month ago today to my supporters, and now the smaller public version is being made public.

This page was a bit unique in that it was written with a different method than usual. Usually I have everyone submit ideas for a full page, and then the winning page through votes is what I use. This time I had them submit individual panels, and then combined the most popular panels into a sort of Chimera page. While I’m pretty happy with the result we got, the process needlessly complicated things for my supporters, so this is the only month we’ll be doing this. It was a fun experiment, though, and I’m glad we tried it.

Also, for those interested in my video series looking back at the superhero world I built when I was younger, here’s part nine:
