I wasn’t too sure about doing this one at first. I didn’t really like the idea of having a character just pick from a closed selection like this. However, I know Luffy fans have been wanting more of him, and a few have been vocal in their disappointment in how he appears in the second Pirate vs. Ninja Strippers page… So I went with this Ask so he can get some casual fun with another fairly popular character. Of the three listed here I felt like Rimuru would be the most interesting to Luffy.
This is basically just a follow up to a previous Ask with glasses Power. I thought it’d be fun to have her doing more of a group study session, and I picked three more-or-less random characters to fill the slots. Each of these three have their own reasons for going to Power, I think, but she doesn’t really care she’s just happy to spread knowledge.
I was considering this Ask at first purely just because I like Gamo-chan and haven’t drawn her in a bit. As I thought about it more, though, their dynamic fleshed out a bit in my mind. Kobeni does kind of naturally lend herself to being bullied, so it wasn’t hard to fit them together like this. I think this is a bit of an unconventional crossover, but I had fun pairing these two up.
This is the second half of a Lord Tier commission. The idea behind this commission is that, following his Dare with Vegeta, Corey’s approached by a bunch of Studio tops. I don’t really know how I feel about this direction for him, but the client tried to keep some of his bravado in his response, for what it’s worth. The guys featured here have some small clues as to who they are, but to help out we’ve got Goku, Kirishima, Luffy, Krillin and Gon.
There were a few interesting Dares to choose from this month, but this one stood out to me for a couple reasons. One is that I just did a redheaded tomboy getting spitroasted by these two for a One-Shot, but another is that we’ve never had someone do a second Dare yet and I thought it was time. Now, obviously here Tomo’s not getting, like, hardcore dominated, much to her chagrin, but I kind of like this dynamic. To Goku and Vegeta, Tomo is spirited but still not able to take something like what Android 18 did from them in her Dare, but to Tomo they’re treating her lightly and ruining the challenge of her Dare.
Nelliel Tu is a character who’s been getting some attention on my Discord lately, so I decided to include her in the most recent First Shoot poll. As you can see, she won that poll, so here she is debuting. Nel shows up in Bleach around the time I dropped out of it. I can’t remember if she’d appeared yet or not when I stopped reading the manga, but I know I never got to her full-grown design. While she’s not my personal favorite girl from Bleach, she is up there, and I had some fun drawing her here.
This is another fan commission drawn by the artist ChesterZee (https://twitter.com/chuckzee21).
The fan who commissioned this pic wanted to see my Spookyverse OC Evan King doing his thing (getting caught and dominated by a monster he’s hunting), and paired him with Ms. White from the webcomic Pixa Chats (https://tapas.io/series/Pixa-Chats). This fan is an active user on my SubscribeStar Discord and through them I’m a bit familiar with Ms. White already. She’s a fun-looking character who’s caught my eye before, but I’ve never drawn her or anything. It’s kind of interesting to see her getting her own tag on the site now through this pic.
I decided to go with Velma for the next guest on Butt Witch’s livestream. A while ago I wrote an AI-assisted story involving Velma and the Butt Witch (as well as Mitsue) that’s set in the Studio, and referenced it a bit in the dialogue here. I also referenced the “Best Ass” series of polls I ran on Twitter some time ago, where Velma beat Butt Witch in one of the early rounds. I thought these connections would give them some material to work with for a dynamic, even though this is the first time I’ve drawn them together. I’ll begin working on the next page soon, though who can say when it’ll be ready to release.
The winning One-Shot script this month features a smattering of characters from The Legend of Korra and Attack on Titan. The script called for their late-season designs, which I hope I was able to do (especially for TLoK, aside from Korra herself I don’t really know how anyone’s designs change). It also features the debuts of Sasha and Kuvira, although in both cases I feel I’ll be using different looks for them if they show up again.
