I’ve been really happy to see how well-received Ember and Silas have been, but they’ve mostly just worked with each other with a couple exceptions. I thought it’d be fun to see Ember branch out a little bit, but I wanted to keep with what’s been established with her. So she brought Eren back from a previous pic for another round, along with Ginyu, who we saw (sort of) palling around with Silas at the Halloween party last year.
So, naturally, with this page we see a bit of Luffy and the shadow clone introduced in the last page double-teaming Naruto and Boruto. I feel like this is probably the peak of intensity for this comic, and we’ll probably wrap it up next time it comes around in rotation.
Here is May’s One-Shot comic and, as always, the script for this was submitted by one of my Subscribers. The premise of this One-Shot is pairing up older sisters with their younger siblings, with a selection from a few different anime. With the exception of the final panel I believe each of these pairings brings at least one new character to the Studio, which is kind of fun.
It occurred to me while working on this one that the question may have been specifically fishing for a shota to dominate Butt Witch, but I think even if I interpreted it that way that wouldn’t fit her well. In her source material, Butt Witch hates children and adolescence in general, so when she works with younger-bodied characters in the Studio she’s channeling that energy. I don’t really think she’d voluntarily take a submissive role with a shota. That being said, I do think she’d have fun getting roughed up a bit with the right top, and I went with someone I thought could give it to her well.
This is a Lord Tier commission done through my SubscribeStar, featuring three characters this Subscriber has hinted at wanting to see for a while. The premise here is that Todo asked Rex of Invincible is infamous “type of woman” question, and this is the result.
And here we have another case of two submitted questions that I think work together. Since both had kind of a simple answer, I figured Mark could address them at once.
And so now we officially end the second match of the first round, and we now know what the first match of round two will be. I don’t know how long it will take me to get the next page out to kick off the third match, but I’m hoping it won’t be too terribly long.
Last year we started a new tradition that we continue here. In 2024, the most frequently-appearing male character was Goku, while the same metric among newcomers was headed by Edward Elric. So, here’s the two of them paired up! Pretty simple, right?
The most frequently appearing character and the most frequently appearing rookie on the female side were the same gal, Kanamori. I guess I went a bit crazy with her, but there’s still a good chance she’ll end up being the top female performer for 2025 (we’ll see). Since 2024 was her debut year, however, we decided to let her have that spot and give the regular top female performer spot to the runner-up, the Butt Witch. Obviously these are two ladies I’m quite fond of, personally, so it was a blast to bring them together for this pic.
As you might expect, we’re winding down on this project. There’s still a couple pages to go, but I hope y’all are still enjoying the ride.
